Yours did go out, on Friday if I remember correctly. I remember because I wondered if it would have been cheaper to hand deliver!
-
Glad to hear they are making it across the country. I've got 80% of them shipped. Post office ran out of envelopes on Friday, so I will pick more up on Tuesday!

If she has a smartphone most of them come with a navigation system preloaded. Garmin also sells a GPS app for smartphones. I am a fan of Garmin. Not only have their products been good to me over the years, their customer service is excellent. I bought a handheld in 2000. In 2008 I broke one of the spring loaded battery terminals. Sent it in for repair and they sent me a brand new, in box unit. I am still using that device when on the trail, snow skiing or cycling. My wife has a cheap Garmin navigation unit that she got through a debit card rewards program. We have used it a ton to find our way through KC and used it for a trip to Yellowstone and another trip to Asheville, NC. It was spot on every time. My biggest complaint about the unit is the keyboard it displayes on the screen when you have to type a street name in. It is your basic A B C D... layout, not layed out like a computer keyboard. Any Garmin road navigation should fulfil your needs.

Which might work better anyhow as we may visit her family in Garden City, KS before coming out. Would put us right through Pueblo.

The wife and I are planning to go skiing in January or February. If you happen to have a couple extra wheels, we could swing by on our way to or from!

Not a problem. Ryans high quality photography made it a quick project. If your mind can think in layers, photoshop (or the free Gimp) should be easy to get the hang of. Post them up. be sure to use a clear pic with a clean truck. I know there are a few folks here that use photoshop. Dark and multi-color trucks are very difficult to get a good color change on.

Hope Ryan doesn't mind..... Image Not Found

First round is going out in the morning. No Hoodies left. I will post what extras I have once everything has shipped.

As the title says. I am looking for two of the Turbine wheels. Cosmetic condition doesn't matter as the two I currently have are very rough and need help. I do not need center caps. I am located in Kansas City and willing to drive/meet quite a distance.

Lots, and lots, and lots, and lots, of gobs of hot glue. I didn't do it, I am almost ashamed to post pics... If you still want one I can shoot it your way. Naw, that's ok. I get the idea. I have a set of light buckets for my RC bit haven't been able to formulate a real good idea to mount them.

Yup, Pete you have the rights to the logo design so I will send it where ever you want :typing: PS. Sorting 100 shirts of different sizes, ink colors and styles really sucks!  My wife will probably stroke out when she sees the living room :rotf:

Worth the risk? (can anyone check out an MJ in Bozeman, MT?)

I am not much help as I am still 1,000 miles away :ack: I would find a way to pick it up and get it to your place. Not only are Comanches pure forms of 'awesome', it is unique that it is still in the family. A Comanche that was running a year ago is better than a lot of the truck members have picked up here. Now I am just thinking out loud. It was running 1 year ago with an intermittent stalling issue. A family member started into the wiring harness to fix but lost interest. I would fly up there with a basic socket set and a CPS, put the harness back in the right spot and drive the truck cross country after changing the fluids and fuel filter. Plan a route back to GA that would put you close to Comanche club members who would be willing to lend a hand of needed. Once the truck is back home, you would have one heck of a story. What could possibly go wrong with that plan!?!? :rotf: -
:jump: I knew the order would be a pain (has anybody tried to sell or buy anything in a forum classified?), but my love of Comanche persuaded me to step up and volunteer. It's all in good nature.

I pad $150 for a complete header, fenders and doors from a local guy parting out his rig.
-
All along I said right chest and didn't hear any concerns. Whenever somebody decides to do it again.
-
Sorting starts tomorrow. It's been a long weekend.

Rob, can you post a picture of the back of the header panel of the RC? Just wondering how the headlights buckets are mounted. I made out pretty good this year. Got the Rockhard4x4 rear angled cage bars for my TJ, brakeline tube bender and flare tool, a quality paint gun and an RC heli that my dog hates with a passion.

As in, you can't expect a stock motor to run with the most aggressive cam on the market installed. Mods may need to be done to sensors, such as the MAP, for improved driveability as well.
-
Comp only listed one Cam for fuel injected 4.0s when I did my research. However, all of the cams will work in a fuel injected 4.0 if built properly.

Tylerjy's '90 Eliminator Build

Your truck looks great. Keep up the good work. :clapping: -
Bucket buckles have more of the plastic coating from the floor so the buckle is always right next to the seat. Bench buckles do not have as much of the plastic coating as the bench holds the buckle up.

Bright sealed beam headlights?
87Warrior replied to Eagle's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
2-3 years is about how long my Silverstars lasted in both rigs. The stock TJ lamps from 02 were still burning when I replaced them in 06 with Silverstars. Two years later, in 08, a Silverstar burned out and I replaced them with IPF housing/bulbs. Now approaching 4 years with the IPFs and they haven't let go yet. The Silverstars in the XJ last in 3 year increments. Currently on the 3rd set. Regardless if I want to continue using Silverstars, I should upgrade to a relay harness to prevent a melt down. -
Bright sealed beam headlights?
87Warrior replied to Eagle's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Silver Stars are the only sealed beam upgrade lamps I have used. I have used them in a TJ and XJ conversion. They were much brighter over a stock style replacement. The down side is they cost over double of a standard replacement and don't last as long. -
They're Orange! The needles are Orange! This is the cluster that will go in the truck with darn close to accurate mileage, 203k. :brows: Saved informative post quote!
