  2. nice. manufacturers that actually replace broken parts no-matter-what? we need some more of those around. i read a thread on NAXJA on detroits and supposedly if you break one due to an axle shaft snapping (their achilles tendon it seems) they won't replace it :eek:

  6. man. i went on a trail run yesterday (stock) got bogged down on the way back out and lost a bead Ugh sucks. and this was at normal psi.

  10. sorry to threadjack for a second pete but it seemed mucho pointless to make a new post for this tiny question. how easy is it to modify leaf packs and add an extra main leaf like that? btw i LOVE the way that mj looks

  15. check under the bed along side the gastank between it and the driveshaft i beleive there is a cable that goes into a weird junction and two cables split off to the axle after that but there is a tightening nut in the middle it should be fairly obvious. i would say if you don't care bout it working later just snip it or try to loosen it up with some wrenches if you can idk ill try to draw a picture of what it looks like. somethin like this

  21. to PingPong: ive seen videos of how you drive offroad. lol. i can see how some shafts have uh... "gone off the ol turnpike" on you. at least one of us isnt afraid to break #$*() id go loc-rite super easy to install too just gotta be careful cause when they catch... they kick :eek:
  22. sweet as long as 4wd works it was in 4wd on the pavement for like a minute and i tried to dump the clutch and spin em and nothign... just alot of acceleration... I'm thinking 242 at the same time as the new tranny would be cool. thanks for all the help yall. -nick
  23. thanks i deff have the wiring in the fender i see it all the time and wonder "hmm if only i knew what that was" then promptly forget its there. lol. no damage will be cause to anything if i leave it locked correct? (completely stock front axle)
