  1. ugh, I'm either buying that D30 that was in the classifieds soon or ill have to do a seal job, ON A DISCOAXLE... ugh did you have trouble with the 12 point bolts that hold the hub on? (ive got a shot axle u-joint as well as my constant drip down the inside wall of the tire.)

  4. so far..(first shot of MJ) my first impression is... ALL THESE WHEELERS AND NOONE KNOWS THE BRAKE TRICK WITH OPEN DIFFS@?!?!?$$#^!@^ the MJ and Xterra couldve easily pulled that off with no help with the brake trick edit: a couple more minutes in... WEAR YOUR SEATBELT WHEN WHEELIN! pretty good video, thats a PERFECT spot, some sticky stuff, some rocks, some wetness. GOOD FIND! (I'm enjoyin the all caps idk why) -nick

  6. id check the coolant pressure bottle for cracks, mine had one near the bottom/back and it constantly ran almost red. new bottle, BAM 210. high idle? mine was at 1500-2000 after some stuff went wrong with my driving... don't ask, and it turned out to be the vacuum line across the top of the valve cover disconnected. good luck, hope i helped. -nick

  8. SHEW! (wipes forehead) tim had me scared there. new leafs increase lift price A TON! SOA it is... i have to make new perches anywasy as my new 44 is from a XJ maybe ill lengthen them some.. but then id be sacrificing flex too. so idk. we'll deal with that when i get there thanks for the quick response. -nick
  9. sounds like a fun afternoon of expiraments.
  10. recently read an article in a 4wheel magazine about lifting YJs... bear with me here. they went into all the body lifts and why not and blocks and then they did spring-over... and said this causes bad spring-wrap... anyone had trouble with saggy-@$$-ends after spring-over? or axle wrap issues at all? i figured with the longer leaf springs of a MJ it would be worse than a YJ... kind-of SOA apprehensive. someone tell me the truth here. -nick
  11. one time my vacuum line that runs across the top of the valve cover (forget what it connects to) was undone, and my idle was high, like 1500-2000. vacuum leak/coincidence? hope its some help. -nick
  12. i think there is more to it than lube cause my bro bought a whole new cable pre-lubed and put even more on it and it still bounces... idk mine does it but its not bad enough to bother me. -nick
  13. mini storage for it would still be a reasonable price for such parts even if you had to store it a year or more! FIFTY BUCKS gah. i pulled my own D44 for more than that. not to mention all the other crap.
