Good salesmanship right there I'd say. Those odd pics will get that guy so many views from countless forums like this one. I'm not sure I would subject myself to that just to sell some rims though, lol!

New injectors installed... Very Happy!!
Xacto replied to BLHTAZ's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I have a set of injectors on the way from PAI and I had a few questions regarding the install. The FSM says that... "Whenever a fuel tube quick connect fitting is disconnected the O-rings, spacer, and retainer MUST be replaced. A repair kit consisting of these parts is available through the parts dept." Is this accurate? Is it easier to install the injectors onto the fuel rail and then install this into the manifold or add them into the manifold first and then position the fuel rail onto the injectors? Thanks! -
Not sure if it would be considered a collection, but I do have a lot of HO scale trains.

Parking Brake, not working properly?

Sounds like the spring on the pawl that engages the ratchet is not working anymore. Here's the spring you are looking for: -
Merry Christmas to you all!

69 Impala, bought it in 1980 from my Dad and drove it for 9 years until I bought the MJ. Thanks goodness gas was cheap back then.

I also bought the Garmin c340 recently and it will give you the current speed, avg. speed, top speed, time moving and time standing, and est. time of arrival. It also has the POI you are interested in, although it couldn't find a store here that had been around for a year already. The mapping is very accurate from what I have seen so far and aside from a few odd ways of pronouncing things like the word "county", the voice prompts are great.

Easton here, sort of on the line between SE and NE PA.

Here's the rear wiring from the 89 manual, two plate lights, but it might help: http://users.erols.com/true2scale/rearwire.jpg

Looks like it would be real nice all polished up, no one plays piano in the family? My GF has a upright piano that her grandmother gave her years ago and she recently had it repaired and tuned. The repairman told her that she would never get the money back she spent on repairs and to only fix it if it had sentimental value, which it does have.

Excellent job, I love it!

I'm not a piano expert, but a quick search on Google found info on a Steiff with s/n 38549 being made in 1920 and one with a s/n of 43800 being made in 1929. That's about 580 pianos per year and assuming that that was the average then your piano at s/n 35303 should be close to 1914 or so. A couple of other links mentioned that Steiff made a quality piano, they were based out of Baltimore. Here's a forum that has some info: http://www.pianoworld.com/ubb/ubb/ultim ... 1;t=009067 I suppose you could register there and ask about your piano, they might be able to get you a more exact date.

Nice job! I was able to draw well at that age and eventually went on to college for illustration, but I could never work with paint like that at 15. Are you still doing any artwork?

I like the design, but there's not quite enough bed there for those of us who need to haul building supplies or large items in our trucks. Here's how it would look if I had my way...

Valve Cover Gasket Replacement
Xacto replied to UNL1MTD's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
The factory manual gives 55 in-lbs as the torque for the bolts. My wrench also wouldn't go that low, so I just tightened them up by feel and it worked fine. I just used the cork gasket, no sealer and it's been leak free for two years now. -
The hood release is in front of the brake assembly.

Great stonework, I like how it runs through the kitchen peninsula also. Looks like you have some good craftsmen working on your place.

I've got a 02 GTI and the MJ, best of both worlds! If you do pick up that VW, be sure to check out the Vortex forums, http://forums.vwvortex.com/zeroforum?id=3 Good luck with whatever you end up doing.
