  3. I was looking the exact one few weeks ago thought thats what I needed. How hard is it going to be to find or fab new flare brackets?
  4. Wow rust free and $1000.00 thats a steal around my parts I would be all over that! can't hurt to offer less he may take it.
  5. Ok thats good I will hit the PNP with a sawzall and try to find a rust free cherokee. I just bought a Mig with gas and am determined to learn to weld this myself I have done some tin and bondo work before but with just a rivet gun. Also have all the spray equipment now. I have a new factory bedside but of course its the wrong side and even though I have been REALLY close to cutting it up I just can't do it. The truck had a new bedside put on the one side in the late 90`s and was never in salt after so one sides perfect.
  6. Can you tell me if a 2 door cherokee is the exact same opening or does it require more fitting? Oh and good to see ya around
  7. If the original poster doesnt want this I will trade it for the Torque converter you need.

  12. Good luck and enjoy the summer on unemployment sounds like you deserve it!
  13. Looking good
  14. Can you tell us exactly what is wrong with you current engine? The renix era engines which you have are known for oil blow by getting in the air cleaner box. If this is the problem there are some cheap fix`s and almost all of these years that you will get used will do the same.
  15. Rare 83 Commanche right below it
  16. We also recently bought a new house and are still poor from all the closing costs and needed repair . It has a 2 car attached finished garage with brown paneling also insulated only 8' ceilings and very few outlets on 14-2 and the only lights were the door openers and two of the old single screw in fixtures. I just bought 5 of the cheapest 2 bulb fixtures lowes had. There quite bright for the money but now you guys have me wanting to paint the paneling white. We had to rewire most all of the house and run a sub to the garage well over 1000 feet of 12-2 and 125 feet of 8-4 aluminum for the sub wanted copper but the price was crazy. I used cantex grey wire channel in the garage for everything much quicker and I like the industrial look. The garage and house both now have all 12-2 now with the garage on the 20 amp outlets and switches. No 220 yet as I just don't need it but with the sub panel its there when ready. I have not added up all the rewiring cost but I am sure it was around $2000.00 in supplys alone labor was free a retired contractor friend and I have been doing it all. I finally have a nice place to work even put heat in it was just getting into things for the MJ even bought a new mig and now I go and fracture my ankle and can't do crap. :fs1: I did however just a few days ago after I finished the wiring hang my Comanche calender on the wall!
  17. Not bad at all!
  18. Same here its been quite slow at times.
  19. If A 89 will work I have one $10.00 plus shipping??
  20. Only thing I can help with is have the right tools and Moog is the best brand if you have the money.
  21. I recently put on a Nates off road bumper and I needed to come up with lights for the plate. While searching ebay I came up with license plate light bolts. There no terribly bright but suit the purpose to pass inspection and look great I think. I mounted my plate on a removable receiver bracket and ran the light thru the tube with disconnect on the wires for easy removal. I wish I would have taken pictures while I built this I could have tried a how to write up. This is them there are cheaper ones on there also, http://www.ebay.com/itm/300692499822?ss ... 1439.l2649
  22. The door lock on the front drivers side manual locks is sticking not unlocking with the key. I get inside and have to flip the lock unlock leaver several times while opening and closing the inside door release handle. I tried spraying it from the outside and its not helping slowing getting worse. I am planing on taking it apart and spraying it more or should I just get replacement parts while its apart? I read on the net that the lock tumbler leaver gets bent and causes this? Looking for ideas as I hate working inside doors.
