alright thanks man, yea i wanted to do an ax15 swap, but my dad had already bought the clutch kitg for the ba10/5, so i decided jus to stick with it
-
exact opposite, the pedal will go down, and it acts like theres no clutch. while its on, it won't go into gear, and when its off and i put it in gear, then turn it on,(with the clutch pushed down) it moves like I'm not pushing the clutch in
-
i finally got my clutch bleed, but it won't engage, so i changed the master cylinder and the clutch line, and bleed it again, and it still won't engage, so I'm thinking slave cylinder, anybody else have any idea of what else it could be? also my dad is helping me out with it but he wasnt with me when i put the tranny back in, so anybody have any pics of the inside of ba10/5 bell housing area, where the slave cylinder and clutch are,

played soccer for about 8 years, then i started swimming, swam for about another 8 years including throughout high school, skated and rode bmx for a while, now all i do is off-road,

man that is a nice comanche, even has the factory cargo light(I'm pretty sure thats it) i would definatley build a baja comanche, but there are no dunes around here to have fun with one, maybe later on ill build one and drive to cali and enter it in jeepspeed
-
man i was thinking about getting the black ones for my black comanche to make it truely all blacked out, but if theyre not that great I'm giving it a second thought, might jus get them and do what smithe1811 did and swap the bulbs out
-
awesome progress man I'm doing the same exact thing with my new mj, starting off with the same exact mj as yours, only a year older, (88 2wd black eliminator, even have a damaged tailgate and rear bumper), and my buddies rolled 99 xj, good job so far man, keep up the good work
-
I'm pretty sure hes talking about a grand wagoneer, since he said d44's alright fsj newbs, here the facts, -gearing is either 2.73 or 3.31, -the front has driver side pumpkin, the rear is centered pumpkin -88 grand wagoneers only came in auto(torqueflight 727) -the front is a spring under, and the rear is a spring over, so the front you would have to redo the spring perches, unless your doing leaf springs in the front, the rear, even if youre doing the spring over, I'm pretty sure it won't bolt in directly

there arent that many of these trucks and there arent that many people who buy aftermarket stuff for them, so companies don't want to waste time and money producing and selling stuff to a handfull of people, when they can sell stuff to people who have wranglers and cherokees, and plus from the cab foward the mj is jus like the xj so whatever parts you want for your mj you can get off an xj, i have the same problem with my fsj's, thats jus the fun about owning something different
-
shelbyluvv, i jus looked through you build thread and all i have to say is   , thats pretty much what my whole idea is with this new one, I'm going to use my buddies donor rolled 99 xj, and do the swap with it, idea so far is going to be black body, black rims, black interior, pretty much blacked out, with some red accents(valve cover(comes with the donor) seat covers) can't wait till I'm done
-
thanks, yea i know what you mean, but the console doesnt have the cherokee e-brake slot,
-
i found a long bed pioneer in a junkyard that had the center console and buckets, which i took to put in my 89,
-
looking around on CL i found this one, thought about it for a while, then boilermaker pmed me sayin it could possibly be an eliminator, so went checked it out, and turned out to be an eliminator, so i picked it up for under $500, its an 88 2wd auto short bed d35 rear and rust free!, it threw a rod thats why the kid sold it so cheap, as of right now its a redneck truck, 32" muds in the rear stock tires in the front, cut exhaust, etc. my idea i think so far is to do the 97+ swap on this one, convert it to 4x4 and do a 6 inch lift on 33's with black steelies, and leave my 89 with only a 3 inch lift and orginal, here's some pics of it

man that sucks, well my bro and sis arent even old enough to get married, so i don't have any real stories yet, just high school drama, but this guy will deserve what he gets eventually, after you saying what all he eats, thats jus a health problem waiting to happen, and if he does move back with his mommy, shes not going to be around to take care of him forever, and hopefully there won't be anyone else who would want to take care of him either, like my dad always says, "every pig has their day" this little piggy will have his day, pretty soon the way hes eatting, all you really need to do is stick close to your family, jus help your sis out with whatever she needs, especially now that shes pregnant, and already has a kid, thats going to be a real hardache on her,

hell no id take that in a heartbeat, if i had somewhere to park it, garage is kinda small, id also take that yellow m715 right next to it
-
what if i don't have the trans :dunno: i have everything else but my buddy put the tranny in his new xj along with the transfer case, which rolled 4 times at 75 mph,(ill post pics later) and is now sitting in a insurance salvage yard about 4 hours away, and they won't let me get the tranny out, believe me i tried, plus it was pretty messed up as you can imagine what that kind of a wreck would do :(

man that sucks, my dad was telling when he was living in florida, he took his boss to work one day, and the took him home, to find a 1970(i think) el camino 454 ss, standard, bucket seats with centet console, the works, jus sitting there, my dad asked his boss what was up with it he said the bank took it when he claimed bankruptcy, and the bank still hadnt picked it up, my dad talked to the bank and the bank said that he could buy it from them with a power of attorney, but he would have to wait for the papers to come in. this all happened in july/august, some kids lit the car on fire in dec :fs1: , my dad got the papers in jan, :headpop:

yea its not a bad deal, I'm going to do the same swap on my comanche with my buddys rolled xj, I know you have swap out the complete wiring harness and eevrything, but i also heard you have to swap out the engine also because of the wiring harness not matching, can anyone verify this?

i know the day i found mine, i called the guy immediatley, when i picked it up a month later, guy said he had like 15 calls for it,
-
couple of weeks ago a couple of my buddies and i traveled 2 hours to go look at a cj7 that my buddy was going to build up for off-roading, got lost and called the guy to ask for directions, called us back about 10 min later, and said "jus so you guys don't travel too far i jus sold it" we were about 15 min away :headpop: , i told the guy that we were the ones that were buying it, he said the guy bought it was right in front of him, this was after we had been talking to him for 3 days telling him we were going on that day :fs1: , so at least you got to see the mj, haha thats awesome, yea this guy said that they were rare and that he was attached to the truck, but its jus sitting in his driveway rotting away
-
so my dad had been eye-ballin a comanche down the street from a house that we did some a/c work for a while now, even took a pic and sent it to me. it is a 2wd short bed standard pioneer couldnt tell if it was a 6 or 4 cyl, but has had the passenger window down for a while, probabaly broken, and hadnt been on the road since 2001. anyway today on our way back to drop off my aunts trailer we passed by the comanche, and decided to stop by see if the guy would be willing to sell it. knocked on the guys door talked to him for a while. and he said and i quote "I am attached to my truck", thought to myself if your so attached why has it been sitting in the same place with the window down forever? :fs1: left my number just incase he wanted to change his mind. unfortunatley, this is the second time, about a year ago i offered another guy some money for his 86 2wd, but he also didnt want to sell it, says he still uses it, and its still sitting in the same place with the grass around it cut for at least 6 years(when i moved in) :fs1: anyone else have this happen to them?

my buddy jus flipped his second cherokee in the past 6 months, easter sunday, and now instead of buying another cherokee, hes looking for and f250 or dodge 2500, tried to talk him out of it, but no can do, he said he needed the leg room, also probably much more comfortable on the 10 hour drives between school(AK) and home(houston)
