i gave thought about doing that to an old wagoneer i had but off a cliff and into an old quarrey, but that only lasted about 5 sec. i thought i could sell it to someone who needs the parts more than the bottom of the quarrey does, plus having to take it out there, and then if i get caught thats a big fine, decided it wasnt worth the risk. ended up selling it to a kid who was going to use some parts for his m715, and his dads cj

yea that bumper looks pretty good

get it, j10s are awesome, i miss my old one so much, i want to get another, jus make sure its not too rusted out

Hmm... my score seems low now, but I didn't do any flips. Flips are a must ....... You can do front flips too!!!! :brows:  yea but i learned don't do a back flip and then do a front flip because itll jus cancel out your flips
-
after you do 3 they jus call it a mega flip, the most flips i did was 4, i just beat it with a score of 102991, I'm in between classes and really bored, so this game is helping time fly by, but don't know if I'm going to have class or not since, everything around me is flooded, thats college for ya

WELCOME TO THE JEEP WORLD, I'm in a similiar sitation, i have a 3 car garage, that holds my wrangler, comanche, and dads mustang, moms car and dads truck sit outside(mom aint too happy about that) then i have 3 storage spaces(2 indoor one outdoor) one of the indoor has two wagoneers and is full of fsj, tj and xj/mj parts, and the other was used to hold my old fsj cherokee that i jus sold. Now I'm buying my buddies old rolled cherokee to bui8ld up my comanche. So between paying $300 in storage a month and have a full garage and my parents nagging at me, believe i too have had thought about selling everything except the tj(still owe $ and has sentimental value) but i jus can't come to give everything away especially the comanche that ive been looking for for years, so all i have to say is, hang in there man, i know how you feel,( :fs1: :headpop: :wall:) and like automan2164 said "sell the stones keep the diamonds" keep what you can, and sell what you can't

i think i trust these rigs on the highway more than that cj in a field

i saw this ad on another forum and all i have to say is, wow.......really? :dunce: WTH is a 309 :hmm:, how is this a good? "It has about a 24" Shackle lift. This gives you the hight but makes for a bummby ride on the road. May want to redo it. Its up to you!!!" and the weird thing is that people are actually bidding on it, 17 bids so far,

i thnks its something different but yea jeep needs to get rid of the IFS, i read here that if interntaional buys jeep theres going to be a lot of changes, including changing the liberty back to cherokee and getting rid of all IFS, and international would build theyre own trucks like the travelall and scout, http://jp.automotive.com/102671/154-090 ... index.html
-
looking around on jeepforum and i found this, i know theyve changed the liberty up and everything but this looks kinda cool http://www.autoblog.com/2009/02/12/beij ... ty-pickup/

haha so did I a while back i was driving through my storage and there was a hawk jus standing in the the grass next to my storage, i got closer thinking he was going to fly away, and he didnt, so i took a picture of him as i a couple of feet away from him
-
that was nice comanche, I'm sure youre very sad to see it go after 15 years of owning it, but don't worry if you get a j-series pickup, ifsja.org is another big happy jeep family branch, their are some pretty good guys over there, but like the other guys above me said, youre still part of this jeep family

hmmmmmm :hmm: so what do you guys suggest, try to get a grinder in between the bed and the side of the frame and try to cut the welds or should I jus pull the bed off and go from there?
-
so, I got a new stock rear bumper from crankshaftkid to replace my tube/ranch hand bumper, its not a bad bumper but i just like the stock one better. so started to remove it and found out one of the PO welded it to the frame. figured that sucks but since i have to do some body work to my bed anyways, might as well just pull the bed off and tackle the welds from uptop, now reading 512tr's write up on bed removal, he says that I have to remove the bumper first. so, do I have to cut the welds with the bed still on, or is there a way to remove the bed without removing the bumper?

97-01 conversion/OBD2 question?
dancome433 replied to dancome433's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
its cool dude, id rather you explain everything thorough then just bullcrap it and believe that your right. thanks for the info, I think I'm going to use my friends complete 99 xj, only thing i really need is a standard tranny that would work, and the body parts. now for the tranny, would i have to get one from a 99(i know not the exact year but that era) or could i use any ax15 from any year? the parts xj I'm using used to have one but my buddy took it and the xcase for his new xj -
thanks alot, yea there will be plenty of effort, and some creativity,
-
ok so pretty much make to the story short I want to do an OBD2 swap on my mj along with the interior swap and what not. So looking around i found a 96 xj up for parts, and after talking to my friend who has a 96 xj, he says that 96 was the first year of the OBD2, which I thought that 97 was the first year of the OBD2 along with the new body style. I already have a 99 for some parts to put into the mj. if the 96 is actually an OBD2 will the wiring harness and everything work for the 97+ dash and everything else? or would the wiring harness from the 99 parts xj work with the 96 engine and standard tranny? also to clarify is a 96 xj and OBD2 or OBD1?

yea and ive thought about finding some old xj style seats and put them in, but after my buddy rolled his cherokee i figured free seats is better than looking for a decent pair of seats and having to buy them
