  1. The Designers have been getting Stoned on their Designer Drugs Again!!!! I see an "Alien Inspired" Influence. Maybe a Cross of Audi, Infinity, Nissan, and Space Invaders. All are UGLIER THAN ANYTHING I CAN THINK OF!!!!
  2. That ad is so daggone Hilarious!!!!! That guy must have lived in a Cheech & Chong world for too damn long!!!!! Thinking that he has a 1-of-a-kind, Polished Turd.
  3. When I did my SOA Conversion, I had the Spring Perches welded on by a Reputable Spring Shop. I had aquired another set of Shock Mounting Plates for an 89 Comanche. I Flipped them, Cut a Notch for the Axle, then Installed the Whole Set-up. (With the Stock Springs, you can get Stock Height Shocks) Then I got New Axle U-Bolts. The Brake Lines were Replaced with New, Poly Coated lines. The Parking Brake Cables were the Only Headache I had. After it was All Complete, I am Very Satisfied with the Ride. I did get a New Driveshaft.
  4. My 89 Comanche Pioneer is a Platinum Blue Metallic, and have had a difficult time finding anywhere, besides an "Old School" Body Supply that gets the Color right. I did find these websites that have the real color at a Somewhat Reasonable price. http://www.automotivetouchup.com and http://www.tcpglobal.com Automotive Touch-up is the only place that I found that will do the color in a Rattle Can.
  5. When my Rear gave out, I was planning to do a Full 4" Lift. I had the Coil Springs, Shocks, Brake lines, Steering parts. Everything for the Front, already at home. Plus I had just gotten a pair of axles from a small Wagoneer (planned on Rebuilding) Then I got Lucky, a buddy wanted to Trade a Front 6" Lift package for my 4" SUA to SOA swap gives about 6" lift.
  6. Have you gotten the Tank Yet?? If Not, Check with a Used Parts Yard, they are Usually less than AutoZone or Advanced.
  7. I got mine from a Parts store in a City, where the tuners go. Or they may be able to Order a set for you.
  8. I'm heading to a new Parts Yard tomorrow. I'll Check for you.
  9. I Want My OWN Land, Garage/Workshop, and a few other things First. Can't forget a Great Woman, to help Support the Toys!!! I'll build a small garage, closer to the House, for her.
  10. I'm looking for a Replacement Tire Hoist. 89 MJ 4x4 LWB Pioneer trim.
  11. Miller99......NEEDS to go back to DRINKING his Miller in '99
  12. I Remember..... In HS we got a few "Donations" from the Junk Yard. Rollovers, Stripped, Accidents. After a Bunch of Hours, by Students, these ALL were Driven Out and Inspected as a Rebuilt. ALL Passed. The Rollover was the Most Fun, got to learn how to use the Hydraulics like they were not meant to be. What ever Happened to the REAL Auto Body Shop????
  13. I was cruising Craigslist, through some other areas, Looking for Parts or another one for me. Then, I find, in the Baltimore, Md area..... http://baltimore.craigslist.org/cto/3874173773.html I just WISH I had the Cash in the Bank, or a way to get it.
  14. Should you want to Replace with New Springs, There are a Number of Reputable Spring Makers across the Country. I have found there is Hell Creek Springs, New Albany, Mississippi They have the Regular & Metric Ton Listed in their page. http://www.hellcreeksuspensions.com/
  15. Thanks Tim!!! I just looked at it, that is what I was looking for!!!!!! I Know they will do the Bedsides and sections.
  16. Walnutport, Pa. Checking In!! Just South of the Pocono Mountains
  17. I remember seeing somewhere.....someone making Partial Panels for a Comanche Bed. I just cannot remember who it was, or where I had seen the Information. Any help is Greatly Appreciated!!!!!
  18. Looking Great!!!! Just a Few Thoughts..... Eastwood has that New 2-part Paint, supposed to be tougher and thicker than most stuff out there. Also, Have you ever given thought to using POR-15?? I have used it an a few different things. Messy, Yes. Smell, Yes. STOP RUST, Hell Yeah!! Plus it Gets Harder when Curing in High Humidity!!! I have used the POR-15 on my 89 Comanche, Just Wish they would make the stuff in Spray Cans Again. It is Brush on, but can be thinned to spray. The Spray cans were just Easier & More Convienent.
  19. Trying to get a Pic Posted, Why Don't it Work!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

  20. I used to work at a Mason Supply Yard, there were 3 guys that had the Loadhandler. They Swore it was a Great Thing. Easier than Shovelling the Load out fully, Leaves with a Cleaner Bed, Less Scrapes. With the Dump Bed, Unless you Really Reinforce it, there is a Big Risk of it doing the Twist!!!
  21. I have an SOA conversion, Modified Lower Shock Mount Plates. The Plates are Between the Axle & Springs. Really Stable Ride, Stock Shock size, Nice Range of Travel. Looking forward to getting 5 leaf rear Springs, and Finishing the Front with a Long Arm Lift!!
  22. Thinking of doing a Custom Fab Job to get mine. I can only find the "Universal" crap set-up.
