  1. yeah I prolly just inter-gate it into the rear bumper and go custom, just wanted one now to hole me over as undecided how I may go on the rear yet.

  3. oh I do. :fs2:
  4. I can drive 10 miles away to the "hood and pay $2.98, but take the risk of getting shot, maybe why so cheap? :hmm:
  5. well that was the point of it, Pete let me have that one for stupid stuff as to let users vent and not mess up the rated G threads that some people don't like. Everyone needs a little pirate release now and then. :shake:
  6. got one!
  7. so did someone delete it? I been looking for it and can't find it. So what's the deal?
  8. couple years later and just paid $3.19 a gallon for unleaded. :(
  9. yep a few people have. I know of one real ghey guy that swears by this swap. :rotfl2:
  10. THIS! My bumper looked great from the outside. I used the ball to pull out a 3' shrub, and it pulled the bumper apart. It was rusted from the inside. understandable about rust, however you were still jerking on the bumper which they are not rated for.
  11. so something like this? http://www.youremblem.com/catalog/ was going to get my Screen name done for the jeep.
  12. ahhh yes such a pretty Jeep in deed. Congrats man.  I have a MJ now so that means I finally get a chance to possibly have the MJ of the month.
  13. is it electric ignite? if so it will handle its self, self lite one you do your self unless gas company does that.
  14. you do realize you can't do a H&T on the pre 96 tc right, as in the output housing is not sealed like the newer ones are? unless you plan on updating it, here is a good link if that is what your referring too. http://jeep-xj.com/showthread.php?t=41 sye write up
  15. was going to do this to my last XJ, now got a MJ again and I'm converting to leafs up front, something about this pic says I'll be ok... but if you want to look into coil in the rear, read through this thread, give you good idea about how to set it up, and one plus is MJ as a removable bed so easier to work on. http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthre ... p=10045183
  16. i need one for the rear, be silly trying to pull a trailer backwards up the highway.
  17. can you get me a direct link, I need a hitch.
  18. 304, yeah, thanks Geonovast I had to make a custom bushing for mine as I had newer 40 and older trans, a pain it was. :fs1:
  19. yep and you'll need a bushing from a 4.2 CJ7, someone chime in on this to make sure.
  20. well crank should be smoother then a baby's butt, if have some groves or ridges then that will just eat up you bearings and in 6 months have same issue all over again. happens sometimes with lack of maintenance with the oil of just junk oil and dirt gets in there and also just long over due wear and tear. If to bad can just pick up another crank and go from there. but turning it I wouldn't think be more then $100 if that.
  21. lots of tid bits here... 2wd to 4wd search
  22. you should be able to handle 1500lbs no problem, just no tugging on it for like recovery purposes.
  23. well welcome all.
  24. it looks like... humping a rock perhaps? :rotfl2: Got me my 5.13's for the 44 today.
