  1. I think I have one or two of them.
  2. didn't know you could have MJ's in prison? :rotfl2: looks good man!
  3. that bolt on horse power?
  4. :wrench:
  5. Well Creeping Death and I got lots of work done yesterday, from 5:30pm to 6am what a long night, longer for him as he worked then went to garage. So we got my 36's grooved, not pretty but they will be better then how I got them. Mounted them up on the H1's, then Creeping Death did a fab job making the winch plate sweet as hell. So got that installed and the winch bolted up and it works. Some gayness but not to bad last night, nothing like getting hit on by a drunk 40 yr old, huh ladies? :D: So wife is happy as we won't have to relie on someone to tow us out if we get stuck up at Dog Party.
  6. yes it is tilt. And drove it to buddys today and what a difference with smaller wheel. I love it and how it feels, more roomy as well.
  7. fixed a bad injector leak today. thread on my injector fixing Now be heading out to buddies to groove the 36's and mount on the h1's, be welding the winch plate on and getting the winch mounted as well.
  8. not really on a stock engine. the idea behind the 5.0 injectors is to deliver more gas, as you have opened it up and have more air going to it as well. I'll be doing a .30 over build with cam on a H.O. motor with bigger throttle body, intake and headers/exhaust, and will be complimenting the combo with 5.0 injectors. stay tuned come spring when I start after the axles are installed. :D Now, installed new o-rings and still leaking bad, and it was what I expected but was hoping not, the injector itself was leaking, the back 2 on the line. I actually had this same thing happen to me back on my first jeep, 89 Wagoneer, must be a 89 thing, :hmm: , so anyways pulled 2 injectors from the intake off the H.O. I just picked up, slapped it in and no more leaks. :wrench: So cased closed on this one. not bad for tickering a bit. now off to mount winch and groove tire and mount them on their rims as well.
  9. yeah I know, but I to lazy to go back in the house, so warmed them a bit with a lighter, (kids do not try this at home, was done by a redneck certified backyard mechanic) so they in and all is back together, looked like 2 injectors were replaced at one point. Wish I had some 5.0 injectors to install but not in this pos engine, couple more months then I can blow it up.
  10. http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/index.php?cat=1 just measure you current muffler and go from there, always room to make it fit
  11. well about to go mess with the 4.o puke, have a bad gas leak from an injector, think its the o ring so picked up a set and go from there. fun fun at least its sunny out today.
  12. real easy to make you own, my buddy made a set for his XJ based off mine. your spring is 2.5" wide so then make it as big as you want or as tall as you want. one thing I liked best about it was being able to add some lift with these.
  13. i see, had way more mods to do after them. gottcha
  14. thanks man. Now why do you guys have shims? you shouldn't need them if you set up the perches before burning them on.
  15. well think the fuse block is in need to be changed out. So guess I'll deal with it till swap all the wiring for H.O. wiring and H.O. swap.
  16. finished steering wheel and column install, pulled center console and installed a mini, umm messed with wiring a little.
  17. Finished the install of column and cleaned up the wiring some, unfortunately I need a new fuse block, so handle that when swap out all the wiring for 94 H.O. wiring and install the h.o. under the hood. :D Also yanked the center console for the mini console, as be putting a bench seat back in it so that both kids can ride with Daddy. but for now just put my ammo box in the middle for more storage and keep things protected and give me room to add a couple cup holders for the Dog Party.

Then pick up my winch plate yesterday, couple pics of the rough idea on how it will be mounted. and thanks to 1x1_Speed_Craig for giving me a couple Ballistic Skulls to add to the rig. :beerbang:
  19. well since installed the new steering column tried to clean up and check some of the wiring. Well what a rats nest, found the light switch had a jumper wire to make the parking lamps and head lights work, so assume the switch is bad???? Think I got the DC outlet working, somehow, but won't know till I hook the radio back up and see if it still cuts out when outlet in use. I have a good ground from block to firewall, so where would be best to add another ground if i have a bad ground?
  20. yeah I seen that. :fs1: guess pick up one later. no biggie to swap out. swapped steering columns, with grant steering wheel added.
  21. picked up some hood pins to install tomorrow. swapped steering columns today as well.
  22. yep it works, now just trying to short out my electrical issue with the lights, seems the po used a jump wire to make the lights work off the light switch, so guessing the switch went bad, so I had picked one up from the jy but guess 94 not the same as the 89,
  23. well both being tilt, they are the same, as far as electrical wise, so mounting is the same measurement, so going to go and swap it in then, if it works then sweet, if not then drink another one.
  24. have a winch plate being made up, to be added with winch by this weekend, Now going out to swap steering column. :wrench:
  25. Well not going to be able to do the hidden winch set up like I was hoping , I could I guess if I redid some stuff but not worth it at this point and need it mounted up by next weeks run. So since the front is solid now anyways, just going to add to the top and make my own winch plate and just mount it up and just build off what I have there. So after some measuring, going to get a (L=front to back)11"x15"(W=side to side)x1/4" flat stock. then L will be bent 90* at 3" to act as my mounting surface for the fair lead. then the remaining 8" of L will be where the winch will sit and mount, with a 1 3/4" of the plate plug welded along the top of the existing bumper, (made up of a 1 3/4"x6"x1/4" c-channel), then will be adding 6"x6" corner gussets to tie the plate fully into the bumper. So that is pretty basic and will work just fine for my needs. So trying to take care of the winch mount parts tomorrow, and then possibly swap out steering column if all works out for that, then going to try to button a few more things up in the cab of the jeep and ensure its ready for the Dog Party, next weeks wheel fest.
