  1. So finishing up little things before big run this sat so noticed trac bar a bit loose so checked that and a good thing too and thought I need to to just adjust my CA, so went to do that today and well guess I do need to adjust something. Pass LCA axle mount good side looks like this..... Drivers LCA axle mount in need of some adjusting... trac bar bolt I pulled out today and replaced... and during a break from messing with the jeep, wife made me a snack... So I need to replace the lca mount, as it sags on that corner and is seemingly ready to spit out my coil.
  2. but where the he!! is my invite?
  3. assuming this is the RK set up looking at the tie rod, so question, did it come with the knuckle bracket to allow the drag link to be set up in this design? :hmm:
  4. you'll be redoing it. :thwak:
  5. yep home brew 3" lift most likely.
  6. are they solid circle? stocke will look just like any XJ, so look at one in a parking lot.
  7. I may have a cap some where I know at one point I had a couple extras on the shelf. I'll see if I still do or not.
  8. looks good man, did you scuff up the trim before paint?
  9. have to find out, should be about $20 or so, have to peel a tire off it first. has no cap though.
  10. I think I have one or two of them.
  11. didn't know you could have MJ's in prison? :rotfl2: looks good man!
  12. that bolt on horse power?
  13. :wrench:
  14. Well Creeping Death and I got lots of work done yesterday, from 5:30pm to 6am what a long night, longer for him as he worked then went to garage. So we got my 36's grooved, not pretty but they will be better then how I got them. Mounted them up on the H1's, then Creeping Death did a fab job making the winch plate sweet as hell. So got that installed and the winch bolted up and it works. Some gayness but not to bad last night, nothing like getting hit on by a drunk 40 yr old, huh ladies? :D: So wife is happy as we won't have to relie on someone to tow us out if we get stuck up at Dog Party.
  15. yes it is tilt. And drove it to buddys today and what a difference with smaller wheel. I love it and how it feels, more roomy as well.
  16. fixed a bad injector leak today. thread on my injector fixing Now be heading out to buddies to groove the 36's and mount on the h1's, be welding the winch plate on and getting the winch mounted as well.
  17. not really on a stock engine. the idea behind the 5.0 injectors is to deliver more gas, as you have opened it up and have more air going to it as well. I'll be doing a .30 over build with cam on a H.O. motor with bigger throttle body, intake and headers/exhaust, and will be complimenting the combo with 5.0 injectors. stay tuned come spring when I start after the axles are installed. :D Now, installed new o-rings and still leaking bad, and it was what I expected but was hoping not, the injector itself was leaking, the back 2 on the line. I actually had this same thing happen to me back on my first jeep, 89 Wagoneer, must be a 89 thing, :hmm: , so anyways pulled 2 injectors from the intake off the H.O. I just picked up, slapped it in and no more leaks. :wrench: So cased closed on this one. not bad for tickering a bit. now off to mount winch and groove tire and mount them on their rims as well.
  18. yeah I know, but I to lazy to go back in the house, so warmed them a bit with a lighter, (kids do not try this at home, was done by a redneck certified backyard mechanic) so they in and all is back together, looked like 2 injectors were replaced at one point. Wish I had some 5.0 injectors to install but not in this pos engine, couple more months then I can blow it up.
  19. http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/index.php?cat=1 just measure you current muffler and go from there, always room to make it fit
  20. well about to go mess with the 4.o puke, have a bad gas leak from an injector, think its the o ring so picked up a set and go from there. fun fun at least its sunny out today.
  21. real easy to make you own, my buddy made a set for his XJ based off mine. your spring is 2.5" wide so then make it as big as you want or as tall as you want. one thing I liked best about it was being able to add some lift with these.
  22. i see, had way more mods to do after them. gottcha
  23. thanks man. Now why do you guys have shims? you shouldn't need them if you set up the perches before burning them on.
  24. well think the fuse block is in need to be changed out. So guess I'll deal with it till swap all the wiring for H.O. wiring and H.O. swap.
  25. finished steering wheel and column install, pulled center console and installed a mini, umm messed with wiring a little.
