well this wasn't a regular bike, it was a super lite bike without any shock system like you see on most mtn bikes around here. And the tires are fat so the forks have to be a bit wider appears. But yeah these bikes aren't cheap by no means. People love their bikes up here.

mini beast Project: Stock To Beast!!!
MiNi Beast replied to MiNi Beast's topic in MJ Hardcore Tech: Epic Journeys to Greatness
Well now my steering is shot. Never was to happy with it in the first place. Had to cut off the front hole on the hysteer arms cause of the tight back spacing I was running and am now as well. Being stright arms vs the bent arms. so have crossover set. up. But I ssue is with the 4" stretch in the front I need to mount the draglink on top of the tierod as they are inline now. The original plan was to run DL to pass knuckle arm and since had to cut front hole off I no longer have 2 holes just the one. So the debate since ends are toast now anyways is to either run new set up with heims, (Ruff Stuff Kit), or replace ends and. Just mount the draglink on top of TR with a single heim double sheer set up and call it good. Or get some new arms and run the true hysteer like the origanl plan. Ummmm??? -
thats the good thing about my part of California. no snow. the bike in my avatar is my regular rider. Got a shot of one of those winter bikes today, guy says they are popular out in cali as well on the dunes as I guess they are great in the sand as well as the snow. Pretty cool. Image Not Found

Looks good man. Now what about lateral support on the fender tubes? I think lateral be the term to use? Also tell me a little about the price and comfort of the uhaul tow rig setup? -
I have a pair of taillights for sale as well.

Run it. ran the $#!& out of my 30 with 37" mtrs. Just have to be a conscience wheeler and I think you'll be alright. And if you broke 3 shafts with a welded diff backing out the driveway then you sir cannot drive. You make any hard turns welded in 4wd you are going to bind. I run welded front and rear and stay reasonable and ran 40s and not many issues on a 44 stockshaft and joints. .never any shafts broken from backing out my driveway even in 4wd. 50 pt turn but no broken shafts -

Rock Krawler Long Arms
MiNi Beast replied to 88whitemanche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Yes both good. 4 link will bind before 3 link. But not nothing to shake a stick at unless your running for mad flex. 4 link is common for those more dd weekend getters from around the boards gives some a better sense of control out on the highway. -

I ran the RK 3 link setup on my XJ and loved them. Bolt on but a few tack welds are suggested and you can't go wrong with them as an ungrade to an exsisting lift. -
mini beast Project: Stock To Beast!!!
MiNi Beast replied to MiNi Beast's topic in MJ Hardcore Tech: Epic Journeys to Greatness
Yeah sorry to disappoint you. :{ Well one side done today, new wheel bearings and seals, new brakes and fresh joint installed on the passenger side. Had some slop in the bearings, but it was time for a overhaul anyways after the abuse of the 40s. Now got to find me another set of axles for drivers side as after a closer look the inner shaft did get twisted a bit that the ujoint won't sit right. But with that the plan is to upgrade to some yukon shafts and joints perhaps a tax refund gift to myself. ;). -

MiNi Beast replied to 89eliminator's topic in MJ Hardcore Tech: Epic Journeys to Greatness
So how you like them? how did you spot yours? For me I spoted them at the front of the back tires and the back of the front tires so I had a direct line of sight with the spot for when I'm looking out the window I can easily see what my tires are driving over or on.
