I like the look but not for their price.

Once factory motor mounts wear out the engine flexes more and going down hill or up hill the drivtrain twist and hits thangs up front. Freason I first did this mod I did it cause the clutch fan tore a hole in my raditor. Brown Dog mounts or simlular help with that issue. But more for extreme measures as feel more vibes being poly vs rubber.

Nicely done. Simple enough I should be able to figure it out. I had duel setup but with rubber monts they will fex and bite ahold of the fan in front there even on steep climbs those nuts would touch tha fan and it eventually wrecked my fan. Looking to mount a fan on the grill side and make it a pusher fan. Then have a pusher and puller out on the trail and should be a better way to move the air without worry about flexing into moving parts. Lol

Well handle the steering. Needed new tre on the drag link. Also after talking with you about tr roll Wade3, I have the same issue and the spacer that say to install on the passenger knuckle to prevent the roll, well it rolls and that be part of reason in binds. So will orer thir spacers from JCR OffRoad, as well as a inner steering box spacer for the durango box I have on its way. :< -
I wasn't talking curting frame behind cab, if did it be all tube. I was talking cutting the wall section out underneath the window and intragate the bed floor as part of cab floor. Then put a full xj type cage in and that stiffen whole thing up then mount a removable bench seat. Then have choice of crusin with top off and doors off. Be awesome for summer days wheeling. Then just boobed the rear. Which I could do all this plus just move leafs forward like you mentioned.ummmm.... need to draw up some ideas, kind just figuredout what I want to do. :

Well I thought if I keep it I would try to put a bench seat in the back and remove the rear window and cab section and cage it for the stiffness and make box part of cab. Then have a removable soft top for summer and still pull seat and have full bed space for under the stars with me lady. ;) then could also fit the kids in and have full cage. Like the old forerunners looked.

Hood Conversion, Hydraulic
MiNi Beast replied to jimoshel's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I did it and love it. I did mine super cheap per the budget build. Free shock, grinder and self tapper srew and one allen wrench. Pic soon to be posted. :) -
And if did that, plan was link it, but without putting it out of commision for to long I would run hangers off my rear bumper and switch to xj leafs.

Yeah I see that. Really debateing on just losing the bed all together and reworking from cab back then I can get my ideal wb and keep the center flat and tight.

I was looking at yours off naxja site, but since I won't pay anything anymore to their site I no longer allowed to be involed in the tech question forums. So going to start one here as we need one here anyways. Love the look, couner guards and all. Vthought about my long bed and how mucg I need to cut it down to get it looking that good. My biggest thing is I stretch the front 5" cause I will be shortening the rear up quite a bit. With about 123.5" wb right now, I want to bring the back up to make wb around 110". So either chopping the bed or doing away with the bed alltogether, so sell the bed and corner guards

So looking to do something this spring with the back of the MJ. Want to shorten it. Either lose the bed altogether or to keep it, use it, make it work or just go full on tube and link it and go full nine yard truggy. So question to you are what are some ideas that would be beneficial to my build for the tight terrian with rocks and loose dirt make up most of my wheeling, but still make it a capable cross crountry camping friendly rig for them summer trips, all the mean while still driven to and from the trail, UA style. Looking for pics, advice and links of all related to bedsides fab jobs. For those also looking for ideas and that not only want to but may have a rusty bed side, that with some creative ideas could be sulage and still used and look good.

well this wasn't a regular bike, it was a super lite bike without any shock system like you see on most mtn bikes around here. And the tires are fat so the forks have to be a bit wider appears. But yeah these bikes aren't cheap by no means. People love their bikes up here.

mini beast Project: Stock To Beast!!!
MiNi Beast replied to MiNi Beast's topic in MJ Hardcore Tech: Epic Journeys to Greatness
Well now my steering is shot. Never was to happy with it in the first place. Had to cut off the front hole on the hysteer arms cause of the tight back spacing I was running and am now as well. Being stright arms vs the bent arms. so have crossover set. up. But I ssue is with the 4" stretch in the front I need to mount the draglink on top of the tierod as they are inline now. The original plan was to run DL to pass knuckle arm and since had to cut front hole off I no longer have 2 holes just the one. So the debate since ends are toast now anyways is to either run new set up with heims, (Ruff Stuff Kit), or replace ends and. Just mount the draglink on top of TR with a single heim double sheer set up and call it good. Or get some new arms and run the true hysteer like the origanl plan. Ummmm??? -
thats the good thing about my part of California. no snow. the bike in my avatar is my regular rider. Got a shot of one of those winter bikes today, guy says they are popular out in cali as well on the dunes as I guess they are great in the sand as well as the snow. Pretty cool. Image Not Found
