when i put a price on something, especially a vehicle, i usually use one of those 'for sale' signs that you can pick up at home depot or any other hardware store. either that, or i sometimes use those window markers, and write the price in big letters on the windshield. thats how i would put a price on it :brows:

Need Frame Stiffener Advice TnT Ruff Stuff
johnny quest replied to treklight's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
seriously?? cause ive been thinking all along that frame stiffeners were gonna be par for the course when youre getting into the 37"+ club. the LII frame stifferners are nice, but is nothing on the lower area, around the LCA's needed?? -
How much did you cut out??
-
how hard was it to do the bed-bob, and how long did it take??

i honestly havent really thought about shocks yet; something between no-name white bodies and triple bypass coilovers :D I'm also trying to figure out brakes for the back, since i need something with a parking brake so its legal-ish. the eldorado calipers are the best stock option, since I'm running 3/4 ton chevy front rotors on my 14 bolt, but from what ive read, even those arent great.

didnt have much time to get deep into things, so for ha-ha's i bolted up 2 of the 37's, and whadaya know, they fit!! sitting on its own with 300lbs+ in the bed, and the tires clear the stock uncut fenders barely ;) and at 79" wide, i think it may even be street legal!! ill have to look into that more... so now that the rear end is as done as its gonna be for a while, its now time to turn to the front end. ive got the 60 ground down to the bare housing, the coil/shock/link mounts from Ballistic are ready to go, my custom cross member and side plates are ready to go, but i need to trim a bit more off the LCA mounts to clear the side plates. Then its time to bolt and burn all that stuff into place, and figure out link lengths.... then brakes, steering, driveshafts, boatsides, cage, bobbing the bed, (undecided about the dovenose/dovetail), oh yea and getting it running

Something we'd never think of....but someone did.
johnny quest replied to Comanche County's topic in The Pub
that civic is local to me (utah) but i havent seen it lately -
small update- finally got the 14 bolt all bolted in with the stuff from RuffStuff. The drivers side stock LCA mount is off, yet the passenger side one is still on there; these need to go cause they interfere with my custom crossmember/LA brackets. I also got my 37" Cooper SST's mounted on my H2's today. this build feels like its going at a snails pace :(

finished cleaning the brakcets off my dana 60 and my 14 bolt, and then went to town on cutting the LCA mounts off so i can get my crossmember/LA mount in place. then ran out of cutting disks :( tomorrow gotta get some longer bolts so my pinion guard can be installed, pick up some rotors so i can press on the 14bolt hubs, and then *maybe* get the 14bolt under

went to an auto show this past weekend here in salt lake, and they had the indoor course set up. 4 or 5 rubi's and a WK2 running laps around the course. i wasnt impressed at all.
