  6. yup. running into this exact problem right now. we're trying to buy a house, and my gf has decided she wants a ring. so if i spend anything on the MJ, she gets pissed, cause 'thats money that couldve gone towards a ring'. ugh....

  18. I know a few of you on here are on Instagram. For those of you that aren't 'in the know', Instagram is a photo sharing app on the smart phones. Take pictures, share pictures, like pictures, follow people (hopefully not in a stalker kinda way) and when they add a new picture, it shows up on your 'news feed'. You can also filter your pics (poor mans photoshop) for cool effects. Anyway, I tagged a few of my pics with the #comancheclub hashtag, and tons with the #comanche or #jeepcomanche hashtags. it would be cool to see more pics of the CC crew on there. so if you upload a pic of your 'manche, throw a hashtag so we can all see. user name: dkpulsford
  19. i've been looking for a camnache for a while now ;)
  20. just last week i got the "you couldve bought me a damn nice ring with the amount of $ youve spent on that truck in the past few months...."
  21. i live in salt lake city, and i swear, every few days, i see another new MJ that i hadnt noticed before. Another one popped up on the local classifieds just today; I've never seen it before. I would conservatively say that there are 15-20 MJs in the greater SLC area, that are daily driven or dedicated wheelers. how many do you see on a regular basis?

  23. it was a fabrication shop that is pretty reputable in the area. i think the quote was off, cause i told him that i already had all the material, but from what he replied with, it sounded like he worked that into the deal. would it be cheaper if i corrected him? probably, but what other seemingly simple details would he miss when working on my jeep? anyway, found a friends brother-in-law who is a surgical stainless welder, so it sounds like we're gonna work out a deal for just a bit less than that original quote. the lender will certainly be an eye opening experience. we've been lookin on our own, but havent done anything official until now. we know that we don't nearly enough. so we're gonna talk to the lender, (who was suggested by multiple friends of ours who have gone through her) and we'll see where we end up. We have a realtor in mind, but we havent done anything more than a few email exchanges with him. we know what neighborhoods we like and which ones we don't like, so thats a decent starting point in my eyes. we also know what is most important to us in the house itself. the biggest thing we have going for us is that we're currently living with family, so theres no lease to worry about; time is on our side, and we don't need to be out by a certain date.
