$10k http://www.ksl.com/auto/listing/406472?ad_cid=1 This is a 1989 Jeep Comanche (Eliminator) 2 Wheel Drive show truck. This truck is very well maintained, it has 67,700 original miles on it. The wheels are off of a 1989 Camaro and it has new tires. This truck has always been garaged and I am the original owner of the truck. It was painted about 3 years ago the ground effects are from Archer racing. This truck has won many awards and gets lots of looks everywhere it goes. Please feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.

who pissed in your wheaties this morning? id say quite the opposite about this site; that people here are down to earth, and that they are genuine about the assistance they offer and the advice they give. there are other 4x4 related sites that i've had friends turn their tail on because of the insane amount of flaming and finger pointing. one of the reasons i come back to CC time and time again, other than the wealth of comanche knowledge, is that my 'internet friends' (as my gf calls them) would most likely be friends in real life if we ever meet; other sites, not so much.

just come a bit early and hang with us, then check out the west coast for a bit, then swing back through for the NAXJA party.....

gonna bump this up to the top before setting a date in stone. the 'slower' weekends in september are looking to be the 13-15th, and then the 20th to 22nd; is anyone strongly in favor of one over the other? if not, we can just flip a coin

right now its the stock Ford stuff bolted up to the stock Jeep stuff, which should be fine for now, but high steer and hydro assist are in the plans. i might get a WJ pitman arm, which is longer than the stock MJ/XJ arm so i can get more steering throw. behind the axle steering is also a possibility, but i don't think ill have enough room with the oil pan at full stuff.
-
why would you put an axle into a wood chipper?? :???: lol jk i work at a caterpiller dealer in their fluid analysis department as a full time mess-maker.

the more trucks in the herd, the easier it is to hide a new one among them

yup. we're raising a generation of kids that will only be comfortable in a padded room with no windows.

ok time for an update. i havent been doing much (anything) to the chief lately. its been cold. i havent had anywhere to work on it. my tools are in storage blah blah blah. anyway, i'm getting one of these next week, which i think will help the build process move right along. actually its the exact one in the picture: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . yup, we bought a house! or at least we're going to; closing in on tuesday, so keep your fingers crossed for us! 2 car garage, and plenty of room on the side for extra parking. big backyard, full basement... scion not included

i just said the same thing on the thread over on pirate, and I'm sure he'll chip in, but the truck started out as a 2wd 4cyl police impound with no title. it was this or the crusher... -
the passenger side B-pillar looks weird :hmm: x3 on ARB

Here It Is! 92 Mj, San Antonio, Texas

no idea on the KOA. as for the rock climbing, its been years since ive done any, and ive got no equipment, but I'm always down for some good ole self inflicted bodily harm lol

not sure about campsite availability, but we just reserved a spot last night for the end of this april. it depends on how busy the weekends are. ES week goes quick, but the slower ones might even have walk ins available. i guess you could say that the sooner you know, the better. lockers, while helpful, are not necessary down there. We got to some amazing places in an unlocked vehicle. but its all up to you.

the climbing in and around Moab is unreal, there's a spot called Wall Street that is a massive wall right on Potash road, so like 10 minutes outside town. I've belayed right from the back of a truck before. There is also river running and mountain biking all right there, with places in town to do guided tours, or to rent equipment and head out on your own.

right?! how did NOBODY step in and question that front end
