    Dually?

that too. I once got stuck on slimy gravel on the side of the road because the tow rig I was borrowing didn't have 4wd.
  3. I would be willing to help give the entire site an overhaul. :D I have some experience developing forum sites... http://www.minecraftforum.net/ http://www.mmo-champion.com/ http://www.arenajunkies.com/ http://www.diablofans.com/ +70 more in the Curse Network Though I would want to change up all the software for a newer IP.Board installation. is that software free?
  4. which is unfortunately not easy to integrate into the forum... :fs1:
  5.
  6. 3.5k?!?! that's what you get for living in that strange foreign country. :rotf:
  7. :wavey: we missed ya Wade! so when you getting that next coman-che? :brows: you should be able to pick up a little beater to play with for a few hundred buckaroos.

    Dually?

don't forget brakes, brakes and more brakes.
  9. my mj needs a supercharger. :D no action shots?
  10. caster. it means that the truck will be more likely to wander down the road rather than have a firmer return-to-center feel. our trucks have around 5* of caster. I'm sure there's a way around it, I'm just not too up on the scout axles. the caster thing stuck in my head years ago because I couldn't figure out why they would do such a weird thing. :dunno: I wonder if those have big ujoints or small ones. :hmm: my fav junkyard swap is the grand waggy front and an Isuzu rodeo rear (mostly because the Isuzu comes with great gear ratios and so then I'd only need to regear one axle)
  11. central axle disconnect.
  12. been there, done that (like 20 years ago)... it was awesome! one of the last steam monsters left that's still in semi-regular use.
  13. what are you using in the rear? if I remember right, scout fronts have 0 degree caster.
  14. x2. could be any part of the cad system. best plan is to rid yourself of it altogether. there's a writeup in the DIY forum.
  15. just do it in little one inch trips and spread your efforts around so no point gets very hot. no need to drain anything or remove anything.
  16. some of my goodies: :D dealership fold out poster: dealership hats: south american dealership poster: racing poster: I also picked up an old calender image (roughly 16x10) magazine containing thundercheif info: hands down favorite, my jeep pins:
  17. I don't seem to have any online pics of my pins. huh. :dunno: I swear I took some photos, so maybe they are in the hard drive somewhere... in the meantime, this is my dad's giraffe collection. Although technically he doesn't collect giraffes. Many, many moons ago he made the mistake of telling my sister that it was his favorite animal and together we sorta built his collection for him. :D from plush, to stone, to wood, to scrap steel. as varied as we could find (and could afford. someday I still want to get him that 6 ft brass one :D ) Our rock collection. Every family we come back with rocks. Most free, some purchased. From all over the country. This is only the part that's displayed in the living room.

    Poison Oak?!?!?

having that much of a poison plant has got to suck. :ack: thank goodness I only have to deal with briers at my parent's and kudsu at my sister's. though the briers have a tendency of fighting back. I hate those things. :fs1:
  19. Don, do the HO MJs trip a check engine light if the O2 sensor goes south?
  20. do they make a chromed one?
  21. Don, your truck is so clean you could get away with it. :rotf:
  22. throttle body and idle air controller. the IAC controls the idle speed. when it gets gummed up, it can do weird things to the idle.
  23. I would if I have the money. it'd be best to wait for more hands-on experience to chime in though.
  24. lead to frame cracking? I thought they were designed to prevent it? :hmm: do you know where the cracks happen? I've seen completely rust-free MJs crack the frame right between the track bar and steering box (where the push/pull is happening). is this the supposed crack point? Or are the braces supposedly cracking the frame on the other side where the brace mounts to the frame?
  25. haha. been a long day. :D
