instead of a novel, I think I'll do this one in bullet points -Honda Odyssey minivans use nylon roller bushings as a guide for their sliding doors -All other minivan manufactures I could find at the junkyard use metal bearings in this location -Autozone has $45 replacement brackets that are also failure prone (lasted 3 weeks) and, as it turns out, have absolutely no warranty whatsoever -dealerships will happily replace the broken part with a new one for like $500 -after some research I found a steel bearing that is very close to the nylon roller's size -installed them today and the door works better than it did with the brand new autozone part all is well

well, I thought this would be an update about a new steering wheen from a Commander, but after an hour at the junkyard I decided it was reeeeeal close, but just not close enough to buy it without some further research on airbag wiring. but I did find a Libby with decent seats in it (meaning there was still plenty of foam squishy-ness in the padding). Just need to confirm that manual seats will easily go onto to a power seat base and I may go back and get them.

MJotM never has to be clean or rust free or anything like that. it has to be... well... loved. It's hard to put a finger on it. But it definitely needs a decent build thread. sharing all you've done over the years so that others may benefit from that knowledge is a good way to get the month's top honors.

to be perfect? yeah, you'll probably need a new corner down there. Honestly, if it was me I'd have a body shop pound it out as close as they could, then bondo/paint the affected area, then buy a strong aftermarket bumper that wraps around and both hides and protects the lower corners.

that sucks. salt isn't the only thing about winter that ruins MJs. how good are your bodywork skills?
