  1. Ditto.
  2. What about parking the RV somewhere else? That should free up enough space for a couple more MJs. :brows:
  3. Not until the 90 has a drivetrain in it, and I fix the rear axle in the 88, and well, it might be a long time before I can do it. :( But I wanted to make my thoughts known, just incase it inspires someone else. In my head I figure it shouldn't be all that hard to do. :brows:
  4. No offense taken. :D I'm all about the clever ideas, not necessarily the high-zoot follow through.
  5. That's why I made the "inside" ones. I'll send one out right away. :D If anyone has any problems with their Decals/Stickers or needs more magnets, just lemme know and I'll get you new ones.
  6. I know it's not an original idea, but I decided that this will be the fix when the rust catches up to me (or I smash them up on the trail, whichever happens first). I think I'll just cut away the outer bedsides of my 88 and add a flat panel and support frame. Maybe with a diamond tread pattern on the flat panel. Maybe even aluminum. :brows:
  7. Yeah, they have a way of doing that. :D
  8. I park my junk in a nearby parking lot. :D (with permission of course)
  9. Finally found one in the laptop. When you're the one taking all the pictures, you're not in many. This is the big Lego Dino at Disney World.
  10. Where did you put the stands? How many did you use?
  11. Steve was up there near the top of my list of people I admire most. Not necessarily because of what he did, but because he got to do what he loves to do, and make a living out of it. And not just that, he was one of the lucky ones that was able to share his passion with the world. And I gotta imagine that's what he truly loved most. Working with animals is one thing, but there's only so much one man can do by himself. Inspire the next generation to care about the dwindling wild places and you just might make a real difference in the world. Rest in peace, mate. Rest in peace.
  12. Too many people crying over spilt milk here. :teehee: I say it's a sweet lookin' rig! Have you taken it out wheelin' yet?
  13. I was wondering how the spammers got in (as well as why so many members have been able to accidentily post as guests) and finally figured out that when I created the newer forums, I forgot to set them to "registered only" and they were still set to the default "public". So now Tech, Pub, Trips, Testing, and Classifieds are registered only. I left Problems open so if someone is having issues, they can still post to get help.
  14. Yeah, spamming on a Jeeper site is like soliciting bums for spare change. :fool:
  15. A Dana 44 is a bit longer in the pinion than the Dana 35 and so that should be a perfect match for the little bit that the lift will pull the driveshaft away from the t-case.
  16. Yeah, but it's self-clearancing. :D
  17. Maybe he was adding 1/4" out for each side? :hmm:
  18. I picked 180 lb coils over the 150s for my 88. I haven't noticed it being overly stiff in any way, but I guess it can be hard to tell with that dang Ford suspension. Plus heaven only knows how much lift I got or how much sag has happened. I never really took any measurements. I do have a pretty heavy bumper though... No problems with compression here. My fenders hated me until I got the bumpstops extended. They still hate me, just not as much. :D
  19. Don't forget that it's the Explorer/Mountineer 8.8 from 95-01 that you're looking for (pre-95 are also acceptible, just they have drum brakes). Almost all other 8.8s are too wide, too narrow, too expensive, or just plain inferior.
  20. 3.07 gears with 33s?! :ack: :shake:

  22. MJ packs have a lot of arch. But there might be some fullsize trucks that have similar arch, but a stiffer leaf. Someone posted a while back about finding some Ford truck leafs that looked like they had a lot of arch. Problem is that it's a pain in the butt to try different combos out. :(
  23. And you live where? I don't live in Cali or Moab or what ever. Actually, he lives in VA. :teehee:
