What kind of damage can a rod bearing do internally also will replacing rod bearing work or be a waste of time. I think they said it spun the bearing. 1990 2.5. thanks

Just happend today i bought another engine 180,000 on it runs good don't know if i should rebuild or run it. Got your message if i deside to get rid of it you can have it. Maybe i will know something when i drop the flares off next week. thanks

Is there a link for removing the engine. 2.5 1990 would rather just pull the motor. Motor went from ticking like lifter to loss of power to loud knocking on the side of block. Shut it off and i got it towed home. thanks

So the bottle is different. My 98 with 4.0 has a cap on radiator and overflow bottle. Looks like same set up as the 2.5. I am confused on what a open and closed system is then.thanks

Can i use a newer style overflow bottle instead of the big bulky one. I am converting over to the newer style winshield washer tank inside fender and the factory overflow bottle is in the way. Its a 1990 2.5. thanks

It is spot welded on the bracket to the frame in about 4 spots. I don't understand why it has the bolt going through the brackets and frame. I am not worried about the bumper it is bent up and rusted. Could i cut the bumper off and use remainder the bracket to tie into.Sorry no pictures

Went to take o rear bumper today and po welded bumper and brackets together. So i was going to take off from the frame brackets are welded also. My problem is i can't get nothing up there to get the welds off any ideas. It is a stock bumper and brackets. thanks

Time wise how long do you think it will take. It took 1.5 hrs to replace oil pan and rear maine seal on my 4.0. Leaking pretty bad on the sidesand front .thanks

Do you have to remove starter to remove oil pan and is there anything else i need to do gasket sealer etc. thanks

Thanks nice and cheep. Trying to stretch xj end caps around the bed of my mj. Only need to go about 1/2 inch. don't care antidisestablishmentarianism it looks like putting bedliner over them and flares.
