Does anybody know if 31x10.50-15 will fit on a car dolley or will i have to put on smaller tires on the mj to haul. thanks

Bro inlaw checked all that too.My problem is i am back home for holidays and were i got the motor rebuilt is 2 hours away. I don't want to drive it all the way up there might do more damage and i have to go back to work tuesday.Any opinions on using a car dolley for 125 miles. thanks

Replaced with new distributor about a month ago. Bro inlaw used stethascope on everypart of engine only knocking sound came from distributor. Would a bad lifter cause a knock at distributor.thanks

Brother in law came over after work checked everything out. He herd the knock and ticking from distributor before i dropped pan and oil pump. He is stumped checked all the bearings, crank,cam and what ever else he could check. Any ideas. thanks

Finally got pump off (2.5). next question what should i look for have loud tick coming from distributor only at idel. runs and idels good. I posted couple months ago someone on here said to use long screwdriver on motor and listen for knock. i never heard anything exept on distributor.Motor only has 9000 miles on rebuild.thanks

How many bolts hold the oilpump on and do you have to take out disrtibutor to remove.thanks

Just checked cap. Looks like there is only one way to put it on and cap is sitting straight.

Today got timing checked it was good and rtv it. Going to let it sit over night.Hopefully this works.

Is there any other way to check timing besides tdc.

Wouldnt it idel rough if the timing was off. Unpluged o2 and drove couple miles same result.

Driving home friday truck started cutting out when letting of the gas. Like its not getting gas i push down on gas pedal takes off like nothing wrong. Thought it might be part of the distributor problem.Replaced plugs,cap,rotor,distributor and cps. 2.5, ax5,231. Any ideas thanks

Installed new gear this weekend still have knock at distributor. Installed new distributor same result. Anything else i can check. thanks
