first one is indeed the auto harness pigtail for the CPS for the automatic second one is for the pressure switch on the power steering pump......it bumps the idle up slightly when you turn the wheel while stationary. The switch it connects to should be on the output line of the pump, above and slightly behind it. Jeff

drywall is in and done, all painted. All cabinets are in, too. you don't have time to hurl....... I did let out a very loud explative on the first drop (they nose the train over the edge of the drop and hold you all there at about 70 degrees for about 5 seconds, then unlock it and you go flying). My usual is to sing the Flintstones song.....don't ask why, me and my wife/friends have been doing it for years on big first drops.........but the only sound I could muster on this one was oh SH##############T! My wife was mute. Jeff

(sorry for the delayed response, the wife and I ran away for the weekend and didn't tell anyone....:D ) Joop - there are four 35 ton Carslyle compressors on the rack system, and a seperate 25 ton Frick in the seperate engine room...all running on R507 (well, some of them are running anyway....), 4 evap coils total, 2 supplying a 36 degree cool room and the other 2 supplying a -10 freezebox . Long story short, all of the oil got pushed out of the rack and is logged in two evaporator coils that feed our cool room, and I can't get anything running enough to pull the oil back on the suction side. The Frick was an add-on we did about 5 years ago and it can be valved and programmed to run on either side of the system in tandem with the Carslyles......it was running on the -10 side but I've swapped it over to the +36 side for now so I can keep temp in the box and let the one Carslyle that is running pull on the freezer side (I've disabled one freezer coil as well to keep suction pressure tolerable....it's not holding temp but it's the best I can do with what I have at the moment). I can't get anything running long enough to even do a hot gas defrost on the coils to push the oil back, either. There's an oil level sensor in the seperator that's disabling the rack due to low oil level.....I've got a hand pump here that I can put oil in, but I gots no oil :headpop: UPDATE- got oil in, got 2 running and got our oil back. Now the #2 compressor that's DOA is in the process of getting disconnected from the rack (bearings are fried from an unrelated problem), and it's getting swapped out tomorrow morning. this will give you an idea of where that cable lives…..see it coming off the top center anchor pin and wrapping around the guide on the back shoe in this pic: Image Not Found I don’t have a pic of how it attaches to the adjuster lever, but you can get an idea from this…..to get it all hooked back up it helps if you pull the lower spring off the lever and attach the cable to it (the lever) first, then try to stretch the spring back to the lever: Image Not Found

Wife and I took a quick getaway weekend down to Colonial Williamsburg, and spent most of Saturday at Busch Gardens. We finally got to get a ride (several, in fact) on the newest coaster, Griffon. It is a BEAST and if you're a coaster junkie you definately need to put it on your to-ride list. Floorless dive coaster, 205 ft drop @ 90 degrees, over 70 mph....not the fastest coaster in the world, but not having a floor makes 70 feel alot more than it is :yes: http://www.griffoncoaster.com/ Jeff we also got a personal tour of the Clydesdale stables and got to try to hold an 18.3 hand horse still while they tried to take pictures of us......not sure which was more exciting, the coaster or the horse....

the spring is to hold the parking brake cable up, and the cable goes inside the brake drum....the round part slips over the top anchor pin and the cable routes around the back face of the rear shoe, thru a metal guide, and attaches to the end of the self-adjuster lever along with the lower brake spring. I've got a good pic somewhere of the whole assembly, let me see if I can dig it up so you can see what I'm talking about. Jeff

VA kinda has the same problem as on NAXJA between the SE and NE areas......I tend to associate the majority of our state with the SE. But, the folks up in NoVA (DC area) are more in line with the NE. I'm stayin' put here ;) (unless I'm up home in PA, then I'll revert back to my Yankee roots) Jeff

the scheduled close date is June 29th, but we're about 2 weeks ahead on the construction schedule up to last week........the rain put a couple days of delay in because the driveway and walkway couldn't be poured. They're all framed out and ready to go, hopefully they pour today. I'm estimating the weekend of the 20th, if all else goes as planned :clapping: Jeff p.s. where the h@ll have you been? gimme a call.......

Been here at work since 0300 trying to get our 165 tons of refrigeration system running again (it’s a huge POS). Finally got one compressor going…….have a service team en route to get the other ones up but they’re 1.5 hours away and have to wait until 7:15 to get compressor oil. It’s gonna be a long day…… Here’s the crap system :fs1: : Image Not Found the one compressor that’s running (barely) Image Not Found control system….see all the junk in red? couple things to check......waterpump seal, the forward welch plug in the block under the manifolds, and the intake manifold itself.....2.5's route the coolant thru the manifold (for some strange reason). My bet would be on the plug in the block being rotted out. Jeff

Joe, Give me the serial number off one of the cases....the factory parts manual lists the same part # for both the 231 through a range of serial numbers. I can check it to make sure. Jeff

agree with CW.....quick little spacer/shackle lift and toss some 31's on it. You can still use your stock suspension and gearing (4.56's would be better, but not essential). I tried pushing 33 AT's with my 2.5, and it was just too much even running 4.56's. It was decent putzing around town, but forget about the highway. Jeff -
longer (adjustable) CA's will move the front axle forward a bit which will help recenter the axle under the wheelwells, but you'll need to cut to get full articulation in the front. I'm around 6" on 35X12.5's and have already chopped the front and rears of the fenders but still rub. Next step is to pull off the flares and cut along the flare line to open the fenders up fully..... Jeff

they press on, so it's logical that you could press them off. But I wouldn't get too fancy about it.....just drill a hole and split them with a cold chisel ;)
