  1. Ah, missed your post Taz. :brows:
  2. I don't like water getting into the engine compartment either. It depends on the hood vent you use, where you install them, and putting in drip pans. I went with the factory ZJ vents on my MJ w. the drip pans, and can drive thru typhoons w/o water coming in where I don't want it. 'Bout 3/4 down the page on Gojeeps site: http://gojeep.willyshotrod.com/HowtoBonnetVents.htm Don
  3. CLICK Here Doesn't say for LWB or SWB, but really doesn't matter; definitely not factory. Anyone know what it's from?
  4. My Dad was a Mason for over sixty years. He attended their meetings occasionally, but never attended church. He was a good, honorable man and gave a lot of the credit to the freemasons for shaping his character. We talked occasionally about it when I came back to CONUS for visits, but he never would tell me exactly how his participation in the mason fellowship helped him through life. I never attempted to join, but have always wondered whether I should have.
  5. I'm sure the good Wolflpack will explain in due time.
  6. That's cool Wade. I'm not up to speed on the recent developments on this issue since I don't follow it closely and I'll never be out there, but if the military approves expansion of 29Palms to the east, that's really all that matters to me. This will prolly drag on for a few more years.....
  7. This has been going on for a couple of years now? It's part of the Twentynine Palms Marine Base expansion plan to improve their battlefield training grounds. Nope, I'll not sign any petitions against it yet until I see a viable alternate option for the Marines. If the Jarheads need the land and it will improve their readiness and enable more to survive by better preparedness, I'm all for expanding Twentynine Palms. Find some other place to play on the rocks. 8)
  8. I'm not fooled. Been there done that, although we're getting off-topic here. My wife was a foreign national, and both our kids were born overseas. 20+ trips to Cleveland back is nothing compared to plane fare back and forth several times from Kwajalein to Hawaii for the wife's naturalization. Hono was the nearest Immigration Office from Kwajalein where i was stationed at the time. For the kids we managed to get that done in Manila, where they were born (I drank beer with the Asst. Consul :D). Many many trips to USEMBManila though. Realize the fees are going up and will continue to do so, so if you want it the longer you wait the more expensive it will become mate.
  9. http://www.americagreencard.org/green-card-history.html Can't vote until you get your citizenship. And I agree with that. Not that difficult.
  10.
  11. I do not believe Obama condones this crap, simply because he is an educated and crafty man and over the line demos by idiot rappers and the equally idiot white extremists are only going to make his job more difficult. I think this guy is in a Lose - Lose situation. No matter what he does; whatever legislation he favors and promotes, one group or the other will come down on him. These groups include the haters, the media, the extremists, the blacks, the whites, and the Senate and House. Whatever he does will be seen as favoritism one way or the other, so he'll probably be ineffective and things could very well get worse. BUT he asked for the job, worked hard to get it, so let's see how he deals with it. I'm not real optimistic......
  12. Man, I'm not a big George W. fan, but this crap is over the top: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFbWjG5_48E
  13. First snow and probably six more months of it depending on how far north you are. BTW, did you reuse your stock fuel filler location? Great job! Wish some of out WI boys were as energetic at rust prevention as you are.
  14. Okay, here's the best I could do mainly because I lacked a good BEFORE pic. BEFORE REAR SPACERS AFTER REAR SPACERS Even so it's pretty easy to see the difference I think.
  15. I needed the spacer on my 91 to get the booster rod length aligned correctly with the brake pedal stud. But I also retained my original pedal assembly so that probably was the difference.
  16. Don't forget the brake light switch bracket and the alum spacer behind the booster.
  17. I agree with the experience factor. Look how many times it took Elway and company to finally get it right. :D As long as the Cardinals are not satisfied with getting to the Show and just "show up", they have a good shot at winning. It's up to their coaching staff and team leaders to keep them fired up. I hope they win since I like the NFC, but they are not the team I wanted to see in there. And I'm not holding my breath. :brows:
  18. JT, IMNSHO, no. The CDI boxes did help on older carbed stuff, I've used them before. But I don't think they would help on at all with the computer controlled FI systems. Check out this thread: http://www.jeepstrokers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=425&hilit=msd+ignition
  19. Yeah, the Eagle defense didn't show up until the 2nd half. An all-PA SuperBowl would have been nice. The fights in the stands prolly would be better than the game. I think McNabb will hang around another year. :D Oops, Steelers just scored. Looks like they will be there at least. Tough D.
  20. And the Eagles are history for this year. :( I still can not believe the Cardinals are for real.
  21. The fuel pumps are the same on the MJ/XJ HOs. Joe has a 91.
  22. Best wishes for a quick and total recovery CW. But don't ever give up catching those monster rockfish though - great therapy. :D 'Course I know you won't.
  23. Call Bennie or Lee at Hesco. If anyone would know they would. I've seen some pics of the Archer MJs on the walls in their building.
  24. :clapping: Pete got it.........
  25. Yes. There are only two door handles, right side and left side. The front door right side and rear door right side handles are interchangable and same for the left side. :D
