Probably mostly true. Originally with the D35, my truck had no problems through 120K miles. But two months after the stroker install, I snapped a left axle. Two months after that snapped another. That was it. I wanted a MJ-specific D44 or AMC20 axle, and it took six months before I found a D44 up in TN. Had it regeared to 4.10, slapped it in, and have driven the snot out of it for over three years now with no worries or problems. And this is just a stroker six, not some torque monster engine. I guess if you baby the D35 it'll last, but who wants to do that? :yes:
