I used to drive 48 miles one way 6 day's a week and 24 miles of it was a bridge across lake ponchatrain. I now drive 209 miles one way to work and a 30 mile round trip from the shop to the bunk house for 14 day's.

It might sound crazy to some but I've had good luck by soaking rusty tools in diesel.

I disagree with this I got my first dirt bike when I was 4 years old.I beleive that with proper adult training and supervision (I.E. I was not allowed to ride without my dads supervision until age 14) that it should totally be parent preference.My daughter will be getting her first atv for her 5th b-day this year. As far as the lead thing goes it's not likely for kids to be out licking the atv/dirt bike as easy as they would put a lead contained toy in there mouth.

In the trans. the 3/8 is correct but the puke goat tranny has a 5/16" plug

Could just be condisation but it still depends on how much shows when you drain the oil keep us updated and I wish you the best

Hopefully it's not a blown head gasket change the oil and keep an eye on the temp.I've also seen condinsation cause milky build up on aluminum valve covers but not enough to show on the dip stick. Is it milky inside of the oil fill cap also?

The plug size is close to 5/16".I took a 5/16" allen socket and grinded off two points 180* apart and it worked find.Mine made a simular noise from the drive line when I got it but after the fluid was changed in the trans. and diff. it went away Hope this helps :cheers:

You could also use blocks with some sort of ladder bar or traction bar to reduce spring wrap,and a pinion snubber might not be a bad idea.I believe that you could also use a universal shackle kit,but if you use blocks I would have a machine shop make steel set because the aluminum ones have been known to break.As for the front I would seriously look into drop spindles and if you can't find a set for the drop your looking for then use spindles and ZJ rear springs.Good luck it's always nice to see somthing different :popcorn:
