  1. did yours start out with an eGR system, don't see one on there now but can tell.
  2. Thanks, I can't take credit for the meme tho, just found it online. I do love my two-strokes, to bad now a days in CA they suck the big one.
  3. Got it, don't remove them. Now i just have to find the one that is leaking. When the engine is cold it has a surge (up and down) idle. Once the engine is up to temp it goes away. This does hint to me that it may be not be a hose but something that is attached to the block and goes away as the metal expands.
  4. Just did a 3inch aal from superlift. Looks good and rides nice. Moat of all it was cheap (don't have the funds for all new pack).
  5. no need to be sorry at all. I am very interested in the response, that way I won't be the one with the cold sweats (I almost started to remove that stuff a few weeks ago).
  6. haha ya, good old CA. I just like messing with things that are not broken i guess lol.
  7. Sorry for the confusion, are the lines you listed able to be removed or should they be checked and replaced if needed? thanks
  8. what about other non EGR related lines. Thanks for the part numbers.
  9. So I have a 88 4.0l with the EGR system. I was wondering if there was a diagram of what lines can be removed and capped. I am just wondering cause i have lines that are broken so they must not work haha. Could i even go as far as removing the whole system, problems with smog or it running right?
  10. Any idea what these would do? http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx?R=RS_RS6423_0191606013 thanks guys
  11. Ok so that answers why on Napa's site there is two sets of springs, one with a higher spring rate then the other but the "loaded ride hight" is still the same? just means that one is a stiffer ride?
  12. Sorry about the double post, have not quite figured out the mobile version
  13. I just had mine done (did not have the time and needed the truck running) they charged me 2 hours. Was there when they did it. They pulled all that is stated abovethe including both fans, did not have to pull the radiator. Things to think about, it will disturb the oil pan gasget and if you have an original paper one you will probably have to replace it (which can be a total bi@#$). Also a great time to replace water pump.

  15. This is the other thing that throw me for a loop and why when jim sent me the dimensions napa 88 mj front coils (the higher coil rate) http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx?R=NCP2775361_0162320305 napa 93 grand cherokee front coils. http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx?R=NCP2775360_0162320283 They are so close together, I don't know..... Thanks for help guys.
  16. i just dropped mine down on the ground (no jack just on the tires) and turned the wheels left or right till it lined up. Mind you that mine was only on two inches of lift. My buddy did 4.5 inch on his 96 xj and had to drill a new hole cause it would not reach. Is drilling a new hole the proper way to do it i don't know, but it has worked fine for him (put thousands of miles on it).
  17. it is basic but when i bought my truck the PO had overfilled the oil and it burped into the air box saturated the air filter %100, gave me horrible mileage. You add that to the fuel problem.......
  18. and pre 88 would be non renix right?
  19. I am very new to this but from what i have read. 91 is to new, you will have to swap some of the electrical. 90 to 88 would be a direct swap. (help me out here, i post this to check if my knowledge and make sure i have it all in the right order) haha
  20. I just love it when i say i drive a jeep pickup everyone looks at me funny and i have to inform them that "yes jeep did produce a pickup truck". haha
  21. Add i thought it was bad that i keep leaving my headlights on cause i took that obnoxious buzzer out, lol  i now don't feel so bad haha, thanks.
  22. I am trying to be as PC as i can......but it is a serious problem. I grew up in southern CA and it was so bad that i was having to press 2 for english when on the phone. The day that happened I lost it :headpop:. Never going to live there again.
  23. I like the idea of showing the persons location. Also i have been on other jeep related forums where each area broken down (southwest / California / northern ca) . I have noticed its great when trying to plan trips, events, and meet people you can talk to face to face.
  24. Thanks, i am hoping to put the lift on tomorrow at which point i will take some measurements and see what will work.
