  1. We need to bring back Darwinism! Plane and simple. Cut out most the politics and let nature run its course, cause as you all know common sense is not common these days. :thwak:
  2. I think i saw a list of the most efficient RPM to run in each gear, can someone help me find it. Thanks.
  3. legos? haha
  4. ya that thing most people do so they have money to spend one their comanches, haha.

looks like i had a little something riding shotgun for a while. haha
  8. haha if I had the computer and jeep know-how i would get on this like white on rice but ya, both of those are lacking. lol
  9. Sounds good, i think i have everything worked out now. The last thing i need is brake lines, do you recommend any for a three inch rear lift and two inch front?
  10. thanks guys, I will take a look at it and get the parts headed this way. I am tired of after half hour of driving it smelling like grease in the cab. haha
  11. That's what I do. No problems.
  12. damn that is nice. I will be placing the order tomorrow. Should I also order the factory rubber ring that they sit on (forget what they are called) or is that something that i can just get at NAPA? thanks
  13. thanks this is the link i was looking for, but from the above post i need to do some more research to make sure it will fit without trouble. Also how had is it to get the shifter off any tricks (i have not looked at it with the mind set of removing it). thanks
  14. Been looking around and found lots of information on the inner shift boot. http://www.quadratec.com/products/52106_03.htm but my question is: is there also a trany to stick shift boot? so it would be: trany to stick shift floorboard to stick shift then the mini console to stick shift? does this sound right or did i not look at it right? thanks
  15. are these them http://www.quadratec.com/products/16090_4151_07.htm
  16. thanks, is there a link you could help me out with? Whats ACOS? haha
  17. Thanks for the info guys. Does anyone make a 2 inch lift coil? I have been looking around and found the only way to get two inches is with pucks, but i would like a little stiffer ride and rather not use pucks. I know i might as well just do 3 inches but don't have the cash for all that goes along with that. thanks
  18. you will be looking from the rear, forward at it. If that makes sense.
  19. exactly, when you remove the pan it exposes the lower gear (just part of it) and some of the chain. Just enough to get your hand in there and move feel it and take a look at it.
  20. absolutely. found mine was a little loose ;) IMAG0174 by Dallas_Downing, on Flickr IMAG0175 by Dallas_Downing, on Flickr sorry did not mean to jack the thread OP
  21. Just did mine the other day. Took me 8 hours haha. I did not take the axle all the way out just undid the lower control arms and dropped it all the way down. Then unbolt the bump and wiggle the pan out. 2 hours to get the axle out (not really working to quick) and in 30 min to get the bolts out 2 hours to get the pan off (had to work a razer blade all the way around) 2 hours toclean the mating surfaces rest to install the pan and all. Note: make sure pan is straight and that the bolt holes are flush. Rtv on the four corners. And its a great time to do the RMS. Any other questions let me know....
  22. This should help more. http://comancheclub.com/topic/25446-cluster-swap/?hl=shift+indicator&do=findComment&comment=263399 I do believe it is separate, I say this because i have seen guys take their new clusters and cut a hole in the bottom of for it to show through.
  23. can't answer you question about the gear indicator but I found this cluster to be more practical IMO (mind you i have a 5speed so tack is nice) gets you the oil pressure, temp, battery, plus teck. Just a heads up. IMG_1193 by Dallas_Downing, on Flickr
  24. haha its Vallejo, I am sure for $50 you could get anything done in that town ;) thanks for the info tho, i have heard a few stories if guys (not MJ related) getting salvage titles cause of bad smog.
  25. Went great thanks guys Now what are all the wires for on either side of the wheel, i am guessing they are for factory upgrades but is there anything i can do with them? IMG_1191 by Dallas_Downing, on Flickr IMG_1185 by Dallas_Downing, on Flickr IMG_1193 by Dallas_Downing, on Flickr
