what about this one tho
-
in the pic it showed the leafs, tie down bolts and the bands. When i got it it just had the leafs and bolts. I did not read the fine print i guess, but from what i have read above it should not be a problem.

Ya the role on is looking like the way to go. I am also looking at using the dupli-color spray can stuff on my finder wells and flares.
-
haha no problem, glad i could help.
-
Power to the starter (not he starter itself) ignition not sending power properly.
-
so its all about the prep....! Did you do two layers (role on let set x amount of time and then reapply) or just one layer really thick?
-
thanks for the pics. So you used the whole gallon on a short bed?
-
What have you guys done in the way of bedliners? drop-in, spray-on, roll-on? I was quoted $400 do get it rhino lined, don't have that kind of cash at the moment. I have heard the roll-on kits work good you just have to do twice the amount they recommend. Thanks

Thank you

what is the stock ride height for the front and rear bumper. I am trying to figure out how much i am sagging. thanks
-
I will, if i had the money o would have gone with full packs (cause my are super soft) but we will see. O ya at 4wd.com don't look at the pictures they provide in the aid, i leaned that one on this purchase. haha
-
Thanks, i love it. Did not know it was going to be so hard to find one that filled up the bed, most were way small or to big. This one has a good size gap on the sides and bottom but i have found some really good uses for the space so it works. Spending the money on a nice once is totally worth it, I can go through a car wash and not have a second thought about my stuff getting wet

well i have the unfortunate duty to tell you that an accident in a parking lot is not always equal. I recently was backing out of a spot at a my school and was hit by a car going down the lane. I was found at fault cause i was the one backing out. I am sure that it changes state to state but that is what my interaction was.

O and a fourth question. With just two inch lift in the front i can run stock shocks but the ones that are on it are shot (might as well use them as paper wights) When i get new ones what should i get ones that are a bit longer? What should the length of the new ones be?
-
so if they ask just say you were in a parking lot?

is there any insurance that would cover damages that happen when off roading. I am not just talking damage to your own truck say you slide into a tree, but if you hit someone else. Does insurance cover off highway accidents (i know this my differ from different companies).

Ya the U.S. steel industry is a sad sight these days. My girlfriend's dad works at a steel plant and told me that their cost to buy the raw materials is higher then what their Chinese counterparts are selling the finished product for! We really need to rethink what are priorities should be . But not to get to political.... haha Thanks for the advice, i will be sure to clean them up and put penetrating oil on them before i start.

ya i figured they were good to have as a safety and piece of mind kind of thing. I will get some on the way but in the mean time just keep an eye on them. second and third question: 2. with just two inches how much should i drop the bump stops. 3. I have not looked at them (enough threads) but can i reuse U bolts? or should i get new ones? and if so is it something the hardware store would have in the grade 8 section?
-
4wd.com $50 says it should get me 3 inchs but we will see.
-
haha o gees thanks lol

I don't know the what would have to go into it, but some kind of image program that you could mix and match parts to see how they would fit and look. That way if you can't decide what a new light bar or bigger tires would look like you could go on and select what you would and it can produce an image. More easily this could be done with just a bank of images of all different options.

cool thanks. thats what i thought. When installing them you just want to keep with the pyramid (shortest to longest)?

Got my aal in the mail today and it did not have the bands to secure the new pack once installed. The box was opened (don't do to rough shipping ). Got it online at 4wd and the pic showed them in the package but the description did not. If in fact they did not come in the kit should I get them or can I run without them?
