  1. Been shaving my head for 17 years. I use Edge Gel and the Schick Extreme III razors. The blades pivot AND flex laterally to follow the contours of your skull.
  2. The o-rings for 91-92 are also sold individually. The three o-ring kit is only for 93+.
  3. I have one. I'll post up a pic tomorrow. $10 plus shipping.
  4. The hinges are a non-issue. When you remove the torx bolts, the entire hinge assembly stays on the vehicle. So you are bolting the new doors to the old hinges. As for the electrical, plenty of people have made it work. But I couldn't, so I went back to manual windows.
  5. Don't go by that JP article. :D That is my MJ in the article. We never did get everything working perfectly. After a while, I got tired of the glitches and went back to manual windows and locks.
  6. Thanks Don. My current plan is to lower the truck back down and run 31s. The lady I bought the truck from was the second owner, but had owned it since '92. She was originally asking $2500. I asked her if she would take $2000 if I took a tour bus to Vegas to pick it up. She said yes.
  7. Good luck to you. I'll have the taillight ready to mail out. :) In '08, I paid $2000 for my 92 shortbed. Totally straight, no rust, and with a Dana 44. The one you're looking at looks nicer than mine did though.
  8. That's a nice looking truck. If you buy it, I'll send you a taillight for free. :)
  9. Didn't even notice the bed rail protectors. Those are nice too. They would cover up my wavy rails nicely. :) Who is the man to talk to at Fessybuilt?
  10. What year? 86-90 have mechanical cable-driven speedos, while 91-92 have electronic speedos.
  11. That is a nice bumper. Probably the nicest one I've seen.
  12. I like that bumper. It's got some nice lines and I like the ends. I'd just put the license plate on one of those holders that slide into the receiver. Or I'd get it without the receiver and screw the plate in the center of the bumper.
  13. I'm pretty sure "bumper bars" just means "bumpers". So he's looking for pics of people's bumpers. :)
  14. I have alloy shafts on my Dana 44. And they're 33-splines as well. A little overkill for the type of wheeling that I was doing. But at least I never worried about breaking a shaft or carrying spares. I only did it because I got a 33-spline Detroit for $200 and a friend at Alloy USA got me a very good price on the shafts. I'm trading my Dana 44 to a friend for his Dana 44 with an ARB. I think we'll both be happier.
  15. I had 97+ sun visits from my old XJ that I wanted to use in the MJ. I went to a local upholstery shop and they had material that matched almost exactly. They redid my headliner for $100. It looks a lot better than if I had tried to do it myself. If you want to DIY, I know a lot of people get their material from Joann's, IF you have one near you.
  16. Hmm, that may not be good. :) But thanks anyway Jim.
  17. Going back to SUA. So I'm looking for some MJ leaf spring plates that have the built-in shock mounts.
  18. I look at pics of your truck too, Don. I love the way yours sits.
  19. And this is the pic I'm using for inspiration.
  20. Well, I've decided to downsize. I don't want to beat this Jeep up like I did with my previous two. Plus, its my daily driver. So I'm going back to SUA and about three inches of lift. I'm trading Dana 44s with a friend. He's taking my D44 with a 33-spline Detroit with 4.56 gears, alloy shafts and disc brakes. In return, I'm getting his D44 with an ARB, 4.56 gears, alloy shafts and disc brakes. I like the fact that the ARB is more street-friendly. In the front, I'm buying a Dana 30 from another friend. It's got an ARB, 4.56 gears, and alloy shafts. Today, I picked up five 16x7 Moab wheels for $150. BFG is sending me a set of 245/75/16 KM2s in exchange for services rendered. I sold my Warn winch, along with my winch bumper. I'm collecting the parts for the 3-inch lift. Ditching the drop brackets. Now that I'm foregoing rock crawling, I definitely want to get the truck finally painted. I had been putting it off because I didn't want to scratch up a fresh paint job. Here's the look I'm going for. This is how my Jeep looked before I did the SOA lift.

Nice haul, Jim. Especially that 88K cluster. :)
  22. Yeah, it would be tough to be that patient, Scott. But the result is fantastic. Can't wait to go for a ride. :)
  23. This is the way mine are. Not pretty, but they haven't budged in three years. One of these days, I'll make it nice.
  24. That's for regular people. YOU probably got the good-guy price. :)
  25. Thanks Rob. But I think the wheels are in motion already. :) Johnny Q - We never talked about the cost. That's a good question. I'll ask him.
