  1. Congratulations Rob. They really look good!
  2. Ditto what he said....
  3. are you close to Beaumont,tx? i worked down at the exxon mobile plant after hurricane ike came in a few years ago. No sir. I work at a fairly small 64,000 barrel/day plant in Tyler, Texas owned by Delek Refining.
  4. I'm an oil and gas refinery union process operator. USW Local 202. I make most of East Texas's gasoline and diesel.
  5. $2.98/gallon in Tyler, Texas this morning.......
  6. Ecco is a great brand of shoes. I've had a pair of their hiking boots for 7 years and aside from a few scuffs, they still feel perfect. They're very comfortable and should take care of you for 6+ miles of walking a day. I'm extremely picky about my shoes and ecco and timberland have been the only shoes (aside from tennis shoes) and boots that I've worn where I don't have tired and sore feet at the end of the day. Congrats on the promotion and enjoy those new shoes. They're worth every penny!

    Got Wort?

Just brewed 2 five gallon batches of beer yesterday. Its been about a year since the last time. Any other homebrewers out there? Mash Mash out, sparge Brew Transfer And Wort Woke up this morning to a steady bubbling. It'll be ready to drink in 3 weeks. You're all invited for a pint and some Jeep talk!
  10. Had a bit of an issue the other day. A buddy and myself were driving around in the MJ and saw a small bit of mud near the house. Seeing the ruts, I figured why not. So I cut the corner and drove through like it was no big deal. Coming out the other side I heard an odd whoosh whoosh noise. Get out to investigate, cussed and chuckled a little and limped home on these... Didn't know about the scrap of steel that was under the mud in one of the ruts. I guess someone was getting tired of people cutting that particular corner. It cut the inside sidewall on both drivers side tires. It suck, but it was my own fault. Got 2 new ones and put them both on the back. Kinda hate that they barely had a thousand miles on them before I destroyed them. Its an expensive lesson but my head is officially out of my @ss now!
  11. Drinking a Sam Adams Oktoberfest. Tomorrow, brewing an Irish Red Ale and an American Lager. Mmmm.......homebrew.....
  12. Jeepman also used a 15 gallon tank in his truck for a while. Maybe he will chime in with his experience and opinion on it.
  13. That's pretty cool. I had to read the link to help figure out the technique. After a minute or two my eyes relaxed properly and I could "see" 3 images, the one in the middle being the 3D one. Interesting.
  14. Looking good Ryan! The more I see of your Olympic, the more I want a white Comanche.

  18. 2 outs away!
  19. Good start. Hope they don't lose that head of steam. Edit......crap!
  20. Are you certain its an 86? As I recall they only made long beds in 86. Short beds came in 87....
  21. Have you tried raising the air pressure on the compressor regulator?
  22. I agree that a 60 gallon should be adequate. I have been through 2 30 gallon compressors, a 60 gallon, and a 90 gallon. The 60 and the 90 performed great with impact tools, blowers, and paint guns at moderate use. The 90 was the only one to cut it at heavy (very heavy) use. The 30 gallon will run tools fine in small bursts. It falls on its face if you use something like a die grinder or rotary cutter though. Of course this is all my personal opinion based on my experience.
  23. Have a look... viewtopic.php?f=9&t=32505
  24. NAPOLI!!!!!!!
  25. Nope, not with Carpenter up tonight for the Redbirds. But I do think that tonight will be their last win in the Series. I'm not a Rangers fan, but I always go with the AL team in the series. Even if it's the Yanks. :fs1: I don't know Don..........we're tied up now!
