i have 2.5 running 31's with 355 gears a little under powerd but not bad it has done everything i have asked off it d35 weded :no: will not last long but 8.8 upgrade would fix that $700 i would jump on it :cheers:

found a 2.5 for the mj it is from an 84 mail jeep 40,000 miles clean still has factory paint on it $125 had to go to mi to get it mj will be alive again soon :clapping:

ok i have an 88 mj with a 2.5 tbi i am looking at a 2.5 out of an 86 xj carberated question is does the 86 have cps if not are the bolts on the crank off set the same as mine so will my flywheel bolt to it

sounds like you got it figured out 4 inches should clear 33's no prob just watch back spacing i ran 31's for awhile on stock wheels with no lift at full turn i rub control arms stock on 31's soa in rear 3 inches in front littile to no backspacing

i ran the cone air cleaner up thru the hood with a scoop gained 4 mpg and alot more power i have 3:55 gears and 31's have no prob with power i can run 90 down the hwy

if you are tbi it will help a bit yes as pete said gear gears gears best cold air intake wil give uyou much more than the spacer will i have tbi 2.5 i have tryed these so i do know what i am talking about :cheers:
