  1. That sucks that even your precautions didn't thwart the bastid. Sounds like the aunt already rolled over once and she'll do it again to save her skin. Glad you got your welder back, hope you get the heater. As to Frankie, there's Karma.
  2. And yes, I know it's a GM
  3. Me too. Here's Styyyyle going way back
  4. Thanks! Always loved this tune and man, does it bring back memories. A week of summer nights at Old Orchard Beach Maine with a lovely young Canadian woman.

  6. Been fully vaccinated (Pfizer). Otolaryngology and Dentistry are the THE means of transmission so we were 1A. They're relaxing some of the PPE. Don't miss the crazy triple PPE stuff. Still double masking and donning/doffing gloves all day. Pfizer wasn't bad ... achy the day after the booster, but I loaded up on Ibuprofen right afterward. Several of my co-workers got Moderna and suffered.
  7. 14 Minutes well spent.
  8. 2021 Bronco Sport Bronco 4-door
  9. Nice find and Welcome!
  10. Don't want to impose in MJ tech ... My 01 XJ recently started to skip at idle. It runs rough at cold starts. It seems to load up if I let it idle for an extended period (5+ minutes), shut it down and then restart while still warm. Had a full tune up less than a year ago. Plugs, coil pack, filters. Also replaced all the injectors. This skip just started. No check engine, no codes. It smooths out over 2k rpm. My mechanic is out recovering from hip replacement and everyone else at the shop is scratching their head. They're saying it's a fuel problem.
  11. Sorry guys ... PHD in Duh. The door on the earlier model opens down from the top, 97+ drops down from the bottom. '96 Glove box door opens up /\ 97 with the ugly steering wheel, glove box door opens down 98-01
  12. @75sv1I was speaking specifically about the interior design change. Pretty sure 96 was the last of the original dash design.
  13. Dunno ... Wasn't 96 the last year of the original design? 97 had the ugly boxy steering wheel with the new dash.
  14. The MJ glove box through 92 and XJ through 96 opened up.
  15. Our definitions of unmolested differ. You're more into the finer details. I wouldn't have known about the guage cluster except that I wish I had guages instead of idiots lights in my own truck. When I wrote, 'unmolested' it was I was in terms of lifts, cutting, bad paint and other distasteful aftermarket stuff.
  16. Amazing photo transformation in the Misc- section and all very cool in their own right. That would be an awesome survey in the pub to pick the best flavor! Nice truck, nice work, great fun!
  17. Straight and appropriate patina? Yes. Unmolested with some nice features? Yes. Nice list of things the seller did to make it road worthy, but can you tack that on to what you paid? No. Totally unsolicted, but I'll opine ... not an $11K truck. Hope he gets every penny though.

    Tires

Neither are all-terrain, but they'll get you there. Toyo Open Country H/T ... best bang for the buck. I run them on my XJ as winter tires and they're excellent in all weather. They're on year round on the MJ. I would also recommend Bridgestone Dueler H/T. They're a little more $, but also great overall. BFG in most forms ride well, but they wear too quickly. Stay away from Goodyear Wranglers.
