A function of my position necessitates checking the obits daily. The majority of the under 50 group meet their end in an untimely fashion ... (lack of) safety, lifestyle ... etc. We have five centenarians, one of which is 103 and usually accompanied by one of her two twin sons who are in their 80's. Amazing.

I get that, but I'm tired of shifting. In the same vein, I feel the same about two wheel drive Jeep vehicles. At any rate, it's a wish list and I was limited to 5 (couldn't even get that right).

1. Short box MJ 4x4 with AC, Auto 2. Long box MJ 4x4 with AC, Auto 3. Scrambler, V8, removal hard top, with AC, Auto 3. LJ Rubi with removal hard top, AC, Auto 4. 2 door XJ 97+ with AC, Auto 5. 4 door XJ 97+ with AC, Auto I added an additional 3 to keep it to 5. NO form of red, brown or yellow.

The builder/seller has had this listed on Craigslist throughout the entire build, without ever putting number$ to it. It's been listed as an unfinished project from the start. Hope he gets all the money, doubt he will.

Me biting my tongue and waiting for the incendiary remark that burns this thread. As for old farts set in their ways, it's because they have wisdom. Wisdom comes from experience. Experience comes from poor choices. They've seen it before, but you go ahead and try. You can tell someone there are a million stars in the sky and they believe you.
