yea i see what ya mean.. thats why i decided to get one in w/e condition and try to find a junked out or wrecked from the rear 97+ xj to swap motor/tranny/tcase and stuff into the manche... i think that would be fun

well i just got off the phone with a guy kinda close to me with a '89 4.0 5spd 4x4 manche.. he says its got all new clutch pressure plate.. slave cylinder.. ect.. a/c works.. runs good rebuilt motor.. in the one pic i see it looks good.. he wants 2,900 OBO.. should i offer 2,500 or less?

my dad said hed help me get another comanche since my black one is gettin to be offroad only.. so iam gonna start lookin for a nice 88 and up manche 4x4 stock.. or up to 2" of lift.. i want it to look somethin like this.. but with black crawler wheels.. and an interior heater/ac hahaha Image Not Found

yea ive seen the ones on ebay, and new ones.. but i just don't have that kind of money right now.. that axle/locker was a great deal and i woulda payed but i lost it... but i don't have 200 or more to blow on just a locker right now.. so iam tryin to get ahold of a used one..

i can't find a d30 lock right anywhere :headpop: iam about to be putting my 8.8 in and welding the spider gears but it won't help offroad much with out a front locker does anyone know anybody thats selling one? or has one they don't need? or want? my friend found a guy selling a whole front d30 out of a 90 somethin xj.. with a detroit locker.. i called the guy he said i could have it all for 200.. then.. i got a email today sayin it sold...... :headpop: :headpop: ... so thats why iam back hunting for a locker..

haha iam with ya there man.. my gf hates ridin in my mj when its cold out.. i have no carpet, dash, heater...anything haha just guage cluster and a light switch..

my gf "tollerates it" haha i too have been into jeeps since before we were together, ive taken her wheeling a few times.. everytime i go wheel she gives me the "you better be careful" stare haha and if i break don't call her, but she likes my jeep.. but would rather ride in the cuda anyday hahaha

i have a very wide music preference.. i listen to pretty much anything that sounds good to me. as for bands i guess id choose. 1. a perfect circle 2. tool 3. metallica 4.yngwie malmsteen (i don't know the band he plays with) 5. nirvana this was tough haha i listen to such a diverse array of music so i guess i listed some of the ones i listen to most.
