  2. yea i figured id only run 35s or 36s so i don't think id have to weld em.. but i guess it would help to be sure they don't spit a shaft if ever i do break one

  4. i have an 8.8 about to go on my mj, i know they are c-clip and someone told me that i can weld the shafts in some how... where would i weld?
  5. in my honest opinion i really dislike light bars so id say sell that thing and get parts for your truck that actually make it work better offroad
  6. yea ive ran 33x13.5 swampers on my d35 and iam not to easy one it, mine held up good, but its non c-clip so arent they a little stronger.

  8. id got to a pull it yourself yard, thats where i got my 8.8 for $35 dollars... actually my friend payed for it for my b-day so i got a free 8.8 with 4.10s and disk brakes

  12. well whats weird about mine is. at idle its about 30-20.. but when i start it up cold its around 40.. then as the truck warms up its around 40 driving and 30-20 at redlights.. but on the highway it goes down to 30-20 while in 5th gear doin 70 or w/e.. that made me wonder

  14. whats the normal oil pressure supposed to be at on a ho 4.0 with 10w 30 oil?.. my motor sits at 40 or so pressure as i start then as it starts to warm up the oil pressure drops to almost 30

  17. mines open system, it went above 210 on the highway home i watched it carefully.. it should be ok but i don't wanna be stuck out somewhere bc it overheats bad one day

  20. well when i first got it, driving home for oklahoma it ran ok.. then warm then warmer.. like 230 or so.. its been doin ok lately now it looks like its gonna start goin back up again so i was wonderin how to test things.. i think the blades on the water pump maybe bad, i can squeez the hose easily while the truck is on.. so maybe the pump isnt pumpin much?
  21. how can i tell if my radiator is clogged? my 91 runs warm around 210 or so.. little under sometimes over it gets warm quick and stays warm.. i have the water pump off my blown 4.0 i may swap but i wanna check other stuff first..
  22. well this is a trail truck so i don't care about mpg and emissions..etc i just want it to turn on and get up rocks haha ill prolly cut off the cat, and run just a muffler so iam gonna "jurry rig" it
