iam not sure i just got the truck.. iam guessin a few though the guy said he had it for 5 years.. and in the book with all the work done to it i didnt see anything for tranny/clutch work.. so its prolly just old.. i may get that kit and swap everything at once.. just so its new.. its my dd now
oh i noticed my clutch master cylinder isnt low.. so it either has air in the system.. or is messed up.. or its the slave..
the petal just goes to the floor now with no resistance.. even though the master cylinder is full
my sisters husband has a xj that he wants to put a mj tailgate on... but he wants to keep the rear hatch to... kinda like a minivan hatch or somethin haha the tailgate goes down.. and the hatch goes up..
yea possum it sounds cool haha.. i have a 360 with a 509 cam that i could put in my mj.. but i think itll cost too much and the cam won't let it wheel as good
ive replaced the clutch/slave on my 88 mj and yea it wasnt fun thats why iam really hoping i don't have to on this one.. its a 2wd so itll be way easier but still no fun lol
yea i was lookin on ebay for a new clutch set up they come with the clutch disc pressure plate and slave cylinder.. i may get one if bleeding doesnt work..
is my clutch the same as a 94-01 cherokee/wrangler 4.0 clutch?
or should i look for one 89-92 or somethin? i figure mine is a high output motor ax15 so shouldnt a 94-01 clutch fit?
looks good man, that dual t/case idea is lookin really nice i think i may try that.. where did you get the pieces to mate the two together? are you using a ba10/5 tranny? and would you need 2 t/case shifters? or just the stock one in stock location?
