yea i had to get underneath it and with a 12mm wrench i put it in 2high and put the linkage on now it shifts all tcase gears fine..

hahahahaha oops..

haha yea i was pretty frustrated.. then after i got it in it was shifting fine.. and i went to start it and NOTHING!.. i forgot to put that sensor at the top left of the bellhousing... what does it do? what is it?....whatever it is it kept my truck from starting.......then when it did start i was drivin home and had horrible chattering everytime i pushed the clutch but it stopped pretty quickly....... "only in a jeep" hahaha

GOT IT ~~~~~~~~~ :nuts: :nuts: stuck a screwdriver in there and CLICK now it shifts....

i got the old ba10 out and was putting the new one in.. it shifted great before i put it in then.. i went to bolt it all to the motor.. and now it seems its stuck in 3rd gear someone said to put it in 3rd to spin the spline so it will go better.. well now its just stuck in 3rd all the time. i just pulled it out , took off the transfercase and it still won't move... idk what to do!

tow rig? haha i want another manch to drive/tow my black manche around... but can't afford one yet blahh

haha same thing happened to me in my old cherokee, i was comin home from my parents house and all the sudden it felt like i had a flat tire.. so i proceeded to pull to the shoulder when the back left dropped even further.. and my tire passed me on the road! that was a fun day.. did i mention it was pouring rain out haha

iam not really into sport lowered wanna go fast trucks.. in my opinion a truck is for wheeling or hauling... (work) its kinda dumb seeing them all shiny and lowered.. but thats me.. if i won that dodge id sell it so fast hahahaha

i noticed the other day that some dodge dakota tail lights look like comanche tail lights... would they fit? and work?

so i guess ill try to just take only the tranny off... after hearing how hard it is to get the bellhousings off manches... i don't wanna waste time... this is my DD so i gotta get to work monday.

could i just unbolt the tranny from the bellhousing? making it easier and faster??

hmm i say if you have a choice of where to live.... why choose anywhere else than moab?

hmm that sucks, what about linkages and stuff? any special ways of gettin them off? or what not to dos?

hmm i think mine has been switched before i just looked at the bellhousing on the tranny thats on the jeep now. it has studs/bolts like you guys were sayin to be able to line it up ... so where were those torx bolts supposed to be? was i missunderstanding ?.. either way iam glad theres no torx bolts on the tranny.. thats where i thought you were sayin they were. hey rockhound if your interested i have a set of d35 3.55 gears/carrier that have welded spider gears... if not they go on ebay later haha

OMG... the tranny is held on with torques head bolts!!!!!!!!!!! the one thing i HATE about jeep is torque head bolts STUPID STUPID idea in my mind they strip sooo freakin easy and then your screwd... horrible idea from jeep

well i got a ba10 to swap in until i get the money for a ax15.. are there any tricks i need to know about ..ill be swapping the ba in this weekend.. and don't wanna catch any suprises..
