  1. Now straighten out the end before anyone sees it, and remove that dopey sticker. :laughin: (I have another one for mine,if I ever get a roundtoit)
  2. "Lunchbox" lockers work whether you're in 2 or 4wd. I have a loc-rite in my front Dana 30,love it. Rear is D35 with lsd. It's like wheeling a different vehicle. You point it,it goes. I have a Aussie for a D35 I bought and did not use. If you want it pm me,I'll sell it to you cheap.
  3. Welcome back
  4. Oh boy, thanks for the link,Brent. I can see I'm gonna be in deep doodoo now.
  5. Ok,I'm a noob. Stroker forum? Or maybe I don't want to go there. Does stroke cost money? Cause I'll wanna do it if'n I see it?
  6. Amazing how critical grounds are, huh? Glad you got it going,I'll remember this thread.
  7. Oh boy,you gotta know how bad I wanna answer that. But I won't. Professional courtesy,ya know.
  8. The "snakes" are available, but are only available for xj front electric windows. Retail for $57 @. Would they work on manual windows?Meh. I tried some regulator cables from newer vehicles dug out of warranty retention.(Yea,they still use them.) But every one I found was larger diameter. All from newer vehicles though. Ended up buying regulators from partstrain.com about $100 @ I think I paid.

    Should I?

Buy it and give it back to Pete M,looks like it may be his in an earlier life.
  10. ^You my fine feathered friend, are a mental case. In fact,I'd say you only have 2 things going for you. 1.You're funnay as he77. :rotf: 2.You are absolutely right. :beerhead: Rob,do what the crazy man says and hope the seller read the script. As a matter of fact,I'd probably print out 2 copies and take them with you.Hand him one. Not you Jeepco.Up 2 posts. You're too quick on the keyboard.
  11. Hey,at least she can drive it under those conditions. Kudos to her,I'm still trying to teach mine to drive a stickshift.Which is why I haven't swapped out the BA10 yet,let her wreck that one. :D ps; gotta blow outta here, going to meet my first other mj owner.garmj.Oughta be cool.
  12. No.It was supposed to read duty. Have to hide and hurry posting at work. Sorry.
  13. If finances allow, absolutely. First, have to concentrate on keeping my home. Yea,I'm in the same biz you are,you know where I'm coming from. If you want to borrow it,just yell. You guys have taken good care of me.
  14. I now have decent rear brakes for the first time since I put the truck on the road about 5 or 6 years ago. Eagle,do you think that that valve might be a contributing factor to the all around crap rear brakes from the get go? Becaues mine's still there, and if it'll get me better rear brakes I'll junk it asap.
  15. As a last resort, call me,I'll park mine for a day or two and ups you my ecu,so you can try it.Mine's a 5 spd. I have another vehicle to drive, and it's too wet down here to do any wheeling anyway. Also, check the cps.One of the bolts came out of mine wheeling one night,I ended up getting towed home and it took me 3 days to find it. It was swingiing on the remaining bolt, doing all sorts of wierd schizzle. Did not get to go to River Rock, money's too tight, but we will get up to meet you two shortly.
  16. I don't have a diagram for you here at work. There's one in either Chilton's or Haynes or both. Have at home, can post up later. I pulled the harness from the t/case to the steel lines off.Period. Pulled the harness off the front end of the steel tubes, followed each line to it's source and capped each one off as I went.Discarded the harnesses. All is good, except the 4x4 light stays on when there's vaccuum. One of these days I'll either trace that line down or pull the bulb.
  17. Doesn't come up at all at Mopar.
  18. Thanks,reson46.I just picked up the brackets. They are almost exactly what Pete M had built. Now that I see them in person, and am planning to be able to winch off this bumper,I'll gusset it also. Will do it this weekend, have some scraps I can use to beef it up some. Btw,yours looks great, super heavy cuty.Nice job.
  19. Ok,mabe I can redeem myself. I don't know that any year xj axle wouldn't work just fine. I put front and rear from a 90 xj in my 88 mj. Front was basically a direct swap.Use the xj brakes. Mj brakes won't work on an xj axle.At least mine didn't. Neither calipers nor rotors. I replaced the spring perches in the rear, went soa, used the mj shock mount plates, put them under the axle, got square ended u-bolts to go over the springs, also used the xj rear brakes, they were bigger.Used the mj drive shafts, front and resr. Wasn't a huge ordeal, did it in my driveway. Got about 5" lift going SOA,lifted the front with a Rough Country 4.5" kit.Worked out good.
  20. Help at all? I'm not a writer,by any means, sorry. If you want BLHTAZ can probably post up the pics of the shafts with the bearings in it,I have not figured out how to. He explained how to do it,but I'm either too thick or too computer dumb.I can't even get an avatar to work.
  21. Looks awesome so far. You can do all my welding, kthnx. What is that huge whatever it's sitting on?
  22. Sorry, just playing.I'll shut the h up and try to follow thread in silence.
  23. No,yes,no. Country of origin, build plant, make, model, body style, engine, year, build sequence, emmission qualification... that's all I can think of,might be more. Both BLHTAZ and I work for dealerships,we can usually decode a vin and tell you lots of stuff,as in paint code, trim, options, etc. At least for 1990 and newer vehicles. Older than that, sometimes yes, sometimes no. Can try yours if you either wanna post or pm it to one of us.
  24. I had a similar, not exact problem. The hotter it got the worse it ran. Cool was cool.Hot was bad, sputter on acceleration, stalling. Replaced the fuel pump and sock(had to clean the crud from the tank too),problem solved.
  25. Definitely more.
