...$30? What are they FGJ or dipped in gold? Never paid that much for a box of 380's and hope i never will.

If you stuff a Detroit Locker in the rear and have a selectable (or nothing) up front, will it limit your maneuverability ability at all?

Am I the only one who really wants one of these:

Yes, then make it into something like this: -
The following alert from the AMA focuses on the negative impact for motorized recreation, however the proposed closures will also eliminate access for the majority of the public. Closures will also be detrimental to the health of these lands by prohibiting much needed active management, as well as locking up natural resources which our country sorely needs to reduce dependency on foreign sources. This Wilderness Proposal is bad for the environment, bad for the public and bad for the economy. The U.S. House Committee on Natural Resources will hold a hearing on May 5 to consider bill H.R. 980 that would designate more than 24 million acres of public lands in western states as Wilderness or Wilderness Preservation System land. If approved by the full Congress, the measure would close off more than 24 million acres in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming to off-highway vehicle (OHV) riders, the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) reports. This is equivalent to a land grab the size of the state of Indiana. Please take two minutes to contact your federal lawmakers and tell them what you think by going to http://www.amadirectlink.com/legisltn/rapidresponse.asp Please contact them even if it is after May 5. There, the names, addresses and telephone numbers for members of each congressional delegation appear. There is even a pre-written letter that can be sent via email. It only takes two minutes. Please take action now! Even though H.R. 980 -- The Northern Rockies Ecosystem Protection Act -- only affects western states, Rep. Carolyn Maloney of New York City introduced it. "This is one of the biggest OHV land grabs in our nation's history," said AMA Vice President of Government Relations Ed Moreland. "Even more disconcerting than the fact that the bill is being proposed by a representative from a densely populated urban area, New York City, is that the bill is being considered without the support of a single member of Congress who represents the affected districts. Shouldn't the people who live in these areas have some say in whether or not they should be banned from riding in it? "To keep OHV riders from being shut out of even more public land, we have to act immediately," he said. "Concerned motorcyclists, ATV riders and others must let their lawmakers know that they enjoy motorized recreation, and that we have a right to do so responsibly on America's public lands." Additionally, Moreland said, there are other bills on the legislative horizon on Capitol Hill that would close even more public land to responsible riding. They include: Senate Bill 799 -- America's Red Rock Wilderness Act -- and its companion measure, H. R. 1925, would designate some 9.4 million acres of Bureau of Land Management land in Utah as Wilderness. Senate Bill 721 and H.R. 1769 would add 22,000 acres to the 394,000-acre Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area in Washington State.

I bought the last box (200 rounds) of 223 from Joes. Seems if you can find it, the prices are way inflated. I have a 380 and sure would take any donated ammo... :D

Those have got to be the sexiest hood vents I've seen on a Comanche. What are they off? early 90's Lumina Z34 X2 I owned a 1991 Z34 they are 2 doors with spoilers and 3.4 engine. well no offense but they're ooogly. at least in white. if the front bumper was actually painted up black, header panel properly to match the chief stripes, and hood vents in black, then it would be kosher with me lol Looks cool to me. R there drip pans on the underside of the hood, or does the rain just keep the engine temp down? Nothing like a good steam clean!

Wish my wife would let me run her car on a track.

Sorry to hear about your loss. No doubt that is the worst part of having a dog, although the memories last a lifetime.

Early on in an architecture program, we had a similar task (without many parameters). I simply made a glue lam beam that was trussed on the underside, much like the picture above, but with MUCH more glue. While everyone else was building these pretty reconstructed bridges from photos, I stayed on track and won the competition. :D

Dana 44 HP – Rear Axle

My thought was that the D 44 HP could be stronger than the D35. no...? -
Dana 44 HP – Rear Axle
1990 Pioneer 4x4 replied to 1990 Pioneer 4x4's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Thanks for responding, some impartial advice is really needed. I’m going to add a locker (Detroit), and wanted to upgrade thee D35 as I’ve only heard negative things about it. I need a dependable rig and don’t want to loose any ground clearance. Hear is the situation. I broke my back in 3 places and yep, crippled and confined to a wheelchair. So, I can’t lift my rig any more or get any larger tires because I wouldn’t be able to get in/out of the truck, thus the need for a HP (high pinion). So, I guess there are fewer options for me… So, the question really is, what would you do? -
Has anyone ever had one (D44 HP) while running smaller tires (30”+/-)? The manufactures say they will hold up fine and I would have “nothing to worry about.” The local 4 Wheel Drive Shop said their not worth the money and I should have them upgrade my D 35 with better axles… It seems whoever is pushing their goods/services tries to convince me to spend my money with them. :dunno:

What is EGR and do I need it?
1990 Pioneer 4x4 replied to 1990 Pioneer 4x4's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Is there anyone who lives in Washington that knows the answer...? -
I have a 90 MJ and all the headers that are available fit 91+. The only difference is this EGR fitting is missing on the newer headers. I have been told I could run it without the EGR, but I wonder if it will make a difference. Also, Will I pass emissions without one? :dunno: Any feedback would be helpful.
