1990 Pioneer 4x4

Has anyone replaced their stock throttle body with a larger one? Hesco has a big bore 62mm throttle body, a bit expensive – I wonder if it’s worth the money... http://www.hescosc.com/shop.asp?action= ... catId=7972

I don’t see how the remix motor couldn’t benefit from breathing better like any other motor. Certainly would be a HP gain not to mention louder. Stock exhaust manifolds are known for failure in these engines. Never heard about one increasing engine bay temps, where did ya get that info?

I have a ’90 4.0 MJ and can’t find a header to fit… What is everyone using? :???:

Looks like some good deals. I wonder why the shocks are so steeply discounted…? I didn’t see any shocks for rigs (XJ/MJ) that aren’t lifted?

When I priced them last week, Motion Off-Road had the cheapest price for the Bushwackers. Sure would help with the front, but might look a bit oversized for the rear. Show us a pic with the 30/31” tires.

Motion Off-road sent me this pic. Apparently, when you carve away the fender you loose a mount location. I was thinking about the Bushwackers… but with the hack job combined with the fact I’m only running 30” tires, doesn’t make much since.

I got a truss on mine (lower), but it seems like it's just something else to get hung-up on. Don't really know how much it helps, until i see a photo like the one above.

The “Goings” sign was left-over (not picked-up) after a failed campaign. Made a good target...
