  1. yeah, Ive just seen it blow up in forums way too much, even with groups of friends on a forum. Just don't want a special place on the world wide web such as this to become one of those nasty places like Pirate.
  2. the angle at the bottom (top right now) of the grill should line up with the contours of the header panel and headlight bezel.
  3. Id tap that... :D
  4. Don't bring politics into forums, especially this one, it only leads to trouble...
  5. Yeah, that mod is on my list as well. The reason I wanted ABS is just b/c of the icy roads in winter. Better brakes won't help with that.
  6. Chico's upset b/c the tan couch got moved in the update! :D Welcome to the forum!
  7. Was ABS ever offered in the mj? What all is involved in putting in an ABS system into an MJ? Thanks, James
  8. Mine has had the same problem since I got it. Ive replaced the CAT, cleaned the injectors, and changed most of the sensors. At this point I am not sure if the gear ratio is entirely behind my lack of power. To give an idea, up the mountain passes, 3rd gear at about 45 mph (65mph zone) is my only hope, if I shift to 4th it just bogs down. Is this normal, or do I have some other problems, ideas??? Thanks.James
  9. yeah, I already tested fit... my cheapo fenders will work.
  10. The guys neighbor doesn't even have the balls to post his own name
  11. I thought that with the 2.5 it would be 4.10s...
  12. Almost done with the MJ resurrection. I just picked up some new fenders from certifit today and they came with a black painted/prepped surface. Does the black surface mean that it is ready for paint, or do I need to sand/prime the surface still?
  13. Mvusse, sounds like how I'm doing it, I guess Ill just keep on doing it that way.
  14. Just wondering if everyone does it the way I do! I usually fill it through the upper hose giving breaks between pours to let the air flow out, done this twice now and haven't burped the system and haven't had a problem yet. Since then I have heard that you need to burp the system and wanted to know if there is a reason why others are having problems with air getting trapped and if I should start burping the closed system.

    New Look

You can just click the PHPBB logo and it goes back to the index... same as the olden days.
  16. I dig the hood ornament, shift knob, and whatever those switche are to the right of the column. :rotfl2: The MJ preservation society needs to go get the truck back and turn it into something real... 8)

    New Look

Hey Pete, is there any way to put stickies up and away with the announcements where they are separated from threads with new posts?
  18. Ive seen the adjuster, but I'm not sure how you adjust it through the hole with a screwdriver, d o you just spin the gear on it with a flatblade?

    New Look

Love the new look now with the avatars on the left. Thanks for all the hard work pete.
  20. Don't go with Dish Network. We've had them for about 10 yrs now. They refuse to upgrade our system (about a 700 dollar upgrade for us) and so as they upgrade their system, we slowly lose more and more channels, and the monthly fees stay the sam.
  21. Sounds like a pressure problem. Most likely the coolant bottle, maybe the cap.
  22. Check out this 7.5" long arm lift kit! Check out this 5.5" long arm lift kit!
  23. Your brake pedal is supposed to drop as your system pressurizes and what your feeling when the brake pedal is firm is the pressure being released from the system. Not completely sure, but your drums could be rubbing pretty bad. But having e-brake actually work is definitely a nice improvement! :D
  24. Just starting to look at options for rebuilding the MJ after the wreck. Haven't been able to see all thats damaged yet, but I know right now that Ill need a new front clip and hood to start the process. I was thinking that I would go to a 97+ front clip since I was doing the front clip anyway. I was looking at my 97 XJ and saw that the corner light had a different connector and the bumper lights had dual lights with different connectors. So what all is involved in wiring up the new front clip? Just new side marker sockets and bumper sockets along with splicing in a second bumper light socket?
  25. Has anybody tried to use TJ seats in an MJ? I think that they wouldnt be too much harder to fab up brackets for than 2dr XJ seats, but are much more available.
