since you have silver on the list, check out "slate grey" it a fleet color. supposedly cheaper in price than automotive grade, not in quality.

This was done on a '97 ZJ overhead console. The purpose is to more light into the interior without spending a lot of money. Parts needed console phillips screwdriver (to remove console) soldering iron solder LED panels, http://cgi.ebay.com/12V-Super-White-115 ... m153.l1262 shrink tubing Torx T10 bit plastic epoxy wire strippers needle nose pliers 1. I removed console from headliner. 2. I removed light housing from console, Torx T-10 bit, there are two screws on the front housing and three on the rear. Image Not Found 3.I removed the bulb. I used needle nose pliers remove the bulb contacts had to press in the sides. Image Not Found Image Not Found 4. I placed a LED panel into housing, running wires out the backside of the housing. Image Not Found when you are satisfied on the positioning, use a epoxy to hold it. 5. When I was doing the front housing I had to remove a section. before on the right, after on the left Image Not Found 6. I let the epoxy cure and then reattached the housings. 7. I cut the bulb contact off, and stripped and tinned a section of wire for each of the contacts. For the front the wires were 2 grey (switches) and 1 pink, the rear were 2 grey (switches) and 1 grey going towards the front. 8. I soldered the red wires together and to the pink wire (front) and single grey wire (rear). I soldered the black wire to the appropriate grey wire and shrink tubed all connections. front: Image Not Found rear: Image Not Found 9.Reinstalled the console. front Image Not Found rear Image Not Found rear hatch light (not done yet) used for comparsion Image Not Found results:the interior is a lot brighter and only spent $2.00 (w/o shipping) for LEDs and little bit of time.
