are your plug wires on in the correct firing order? I would try to pinpoint the short you mentioned

So far I like this cover the best: I don`t really like the look of the snaps on the sides, I also would prefer not to have the bow/covered wagon look. I found that Truxedo will custom fit a cover for any truck so I am going to get a quote from them, here is the style I am looking at:

The AX-15 is almost a direct bolt-in, but if you still want a NO-Hassle automatic and don`t need/want overdrive you could swap in a TF-999 or a TF-727, these are 3 speed autos (non OD)

Spend some money on tools and learn how to do it yourself, you will appricate your work much more plus you will know how fix it when something goes wrong. BTW there 2 4x4 MJs on craigslist (MD) right now for less then $2500

all YJ,XJ,TJ,MJ,ZJ,WJ have 5 on 4.5" bolt pattern

I got a 1996 AX-15/231 with the slave & master cylinder for $200, I had to pull it myself though(Saw-Z-All made it easy :yes: )

Bolt pattern is the same, 5 on 4.5"

Well at the rate I'm going I`ll be able to build another MJ with my leftover parts :D

Well today I was flipping the channels on the TV, nothing on so I think what am I going to do today the football game isn`t on till 4:15pm? Well I decided to take a trip to the local pick N pull where I found an almost mint 92 MJ so I looked it over to see what goodies I can use; near mint rear bumper with hitch,check, Super nice MJ bucket seats,check, interior panel behind rear seat,check. I almost felt bad, the truck was so clean I don`t know how it ended up in the junkyard. I'm going back tomorrow to get the tail lights. If your looking for any parts in the Maryland area the MJ is a Crazy Rays, its a long bed 4.0L auto :thumbsup:

subscribed I have thought about this swap but I can not confirm if the 97+ glass will fit in the 96 down sheetmetal, the inner & outer weatherstrip & glass channel are what would be in question.

My 87 is Red with Black interior & what I believe to be a factory sunroof I think 50% of MJ`s were red and the rest were all other colors

Looking for a tonneau cover for my short bed MJ, not having any luck finding any. I thought I read somewhere that a S-10 cover will fit?
