  1. On a 2wd 4 cyl I would think around 25-28 MPG. Alot of people seem to have the problem with oil in the air filter; some actually just run a catch bottle to catch the oil. I would pull the cover and clean the baffles and see if that helps. Just be careful as the valve covers on the 4cyl are plastic.
  2. When I did mine I made sure to put them back in the same place they came from. You don't have to but I figured might as well.
  3. A little off the topic but I read where a few people used a product called ice king. You can get it at Home Depot and places. It is supposed to help with noise and keeping the heat/cold in/out.
  4. I doubt MJs ever came with those.....but if I remember right they were a 2" speaker. I think some did (like Laredos). I just got a knee panel out of a cherokee to replace mine for $6 and it has the speakers.
  5. I'm w/ Pete. The Lions couldnt win with Barry Sanders. They had like 10 years of high draft picks to build an Offensive line for him and werent smart enough to do it.

    Newbie

The only problem with this site is you learn so much that you are constantly finding out new things you want to do to your truck.
  7. I would go to http://rockauto.com/ I'm almost sure they have them. They have the oil one under electrical-switch and relay. Airtex Part #1s6563 They also have a 2 coolant temp senders under cooling system. I would call them to make sure they are for the gauge tho. On JT's for sale thread I think he has both. The link is in his sig
  8. You can tell by the shape of the diff/cover. http://coloradok5.com/axleguide.shtml
  9. Send taz a pm there is a code to use to get a discount. I think the site is precisionautoinjectors.com
  10. Thanks for the offer! I may have to take you up on that if I can't get it up and running by next week. Right now the search is on for a cheap tie rod locally that I can plug in to make it work until I upgrade that to currie setup as well. If you have to replace it anyway you should do the upgrade to the ZJ tie-rod. don't remember which year but someone should chime in with the answer. I think it is 95-97 V8.
  11. Could also be the wires.
  12. This guy on craigslist does custom tube doors: http://southcoast.craigslist.org/pts/759293134.html
  13. What about getting an ACOS? They are a little expensive but you can adjust them to even things out.

    Real NIce MJ

I am thinking of picking up one of the newer XJ consoles with the cup holders built into them. I like the newer style better.

    A little overpriced tho: http://www.free-jeep-classifieds.com/Cl ... sp?ID=1747
  16. Maybe the front bumper? Do you have the uppers still hooked up? if so maybe jacking the axle up some more will swing it out forward?
  17. I would get a heavy duty ratchet strap to move the axle. Thats what JKS recommends to line them back up.
  18. Can you get the nut off? Once you get the nut off just turn the wheel from lock to lock and it should drop right out. Thats how I got mine out.

    Mopar Info

Ive noticed lately that a few guys are into old Mopar muscle cars and I came across this page the other day so I thought I would post it: http://wwnboa.org/toc.htm#An
  20. Is caster and toe the same thing?
  21. JT, I couldnt tell mine was loose either then it started making a loud clunk when i turned the wheel. I checked it again and it still felt tight. So we pulled the cotter pin and put a ratchet on it just to make sure and it turned out to be very loose. After tightening it felt like a new truck. My wife took it the store and when she came back she even asked what i had done to the truck.
  22. I had alot of play between the 12 and 9 0'clock position on my steering wheel and my truck wandered all over the place. My trac bar bolt at the frame end was loose. How are the bushings on your sway bar?
  23. Jim your like the man when it comes to helping ppl out and providing the research for self help. I have to kill 7 of my 8 hours at work at night some how.
