I plan on swapping in a 95-96 booster. I know the booster is a direct swap, but is the pedal assemly a direct swap also? Is there anything else I need to grab besides the assembly, brakelight switch, and spacer for switch?

If you get your vin# and email it to jeep. They will email you the specs on your truck. I forget the exact site but I think its just the jeep.com

The old style board used to do that, I don't know why the new one doesnt. Maybe it is 0ne of the 151 Pete now has on the list.

You can go to search and there is an option to "search for author". don't know if that helps. Or you can click on the persons name and it will bring you to their profile and then you can click on search users posts.

The other day in a thread someone mentioned a FAQ stickie. Like: what tires fit what lift?, What year XJ parts are compatible? Is there a way to start this? Maybe a thread of suggestion questions with answers and then a cut and paste into a stickie? Anybody else have opinions on this? The stickie should be locked so only mods can add to it to avoid a bunch of clutter.

I agree. if we added all that other stuff and brought a bunch of other people over here it would no longer be the group it is now. And it would eventually have all the problems and attitudes that the other boards have.

No, I'm not sure if it was an option or if depended on the package. My 89 pioneer came with one.

Are you serious? Did someone actually complain about your sig? That is just rediculous. :shake: If someone is Offended by a sig than they can turn them off. They can go to "User Control panel", then to "board pref", then to "edit display options" and they can turn them off.

I signed too. What annoys me is it states that one of thrillcrafts main reasons for the ban is pollution to the atmosphere. An ORV doesnt cause anymore pollution than any other vehicle.

I'm not sure Rob. The pic I have, The wrench has a small "U" on it at the end of the handle and each arm of the U has a metal nipple that fits into the holes on the spanner nut. The pics I found don't look like the pic I have.

I have a good pic of one in my PM box but don't know how to get it from there to here. :dunno: When I do a search for spanner wrench it doesnt show the same wrench as in the pic I have.

You will need a spanner wrench to remove the bolt that holds the window to the regulator. I have one waiting to go in my passenger side.

There are push pins like the ones that hold the door panels on. So you can use the same tool that is used on doors or just pull on it gently until they pop out. I started in the middle instead of the ends and didnt have any problems. I already broke one clip. I knew what kind of fastener they used, but I have always used a putty knife on plastic panels to pop those off. On the door panels, I just pry gently with my fingers. Neither worked on that back panel because I did not know where the clips were located. I need to go buy a panel puller tool. :mad: Mine was loose so I didnt have any problem, but a few of the tabs that the pins slide into were already cracked. I have an extra one at home that I can get a pic of if you want so you can see where the pins are. LMK.
