  1. So when you drain bacon grease, do you do it soon after your done and take it off the stove, or do you wait until it cools down enought that it won't run out on it's own and you have to scrape the pan? Warm = thin and runny, Cold = thick and slow. Isn't that logical enough? :dunno:
  2. Looks good! So there's no cotter pin or anything holding that hinge pin in? I was definitely thinking tube doors would be cool. Get going now!
  3. Just spin them all until the Lebaron vents are up front and the other vents are at the back with the "flared" bottom facing outward. Seriously though, I think the long skinny ones are a possibility, but for sure the Lebaron vents just seem to look the best. On your paint with the black stripes etc. it will look very natural. Not crazy about the other ones, what'd they come from?
  4. Yeah, I can see it too. And despite the one photo, from the looks of it, you may be the luckiest owner on here. $750 for a long bed Pioneer w/only 75k on the clock? Wow! Congrats, and post up more pics.
  5. Do all of them!
  6. Pat, if you haven't already, it sounds like you need to have a talk with your supervisor/boss. If that doesn't get you the resolution you need, i.e. a check cut on the spot from either your local office or a check overnighted from the home office, then I would suggest you talk to the HEAD of HR at the home office. Don't talk to accounting, talk to HR. You have a serious and valid complaint about a work related issue, that's what Human Resources is there for. Good luck!
  7. If you want to go shackles, you can get a set of Chevy drop shackles on eBay for $40-50 new, and they usually have two mounting postions. One will give you about 2" of lift, the other about 1". If you buy aftermarket shackles that are for Jeeps, remember that XJ rear shackles are shorter than MJ's, therefore the advertised lift will be about 1/2 that on an MJ.
  8. That's impressive work by that guy. Very cool looking on the little Zuke. Mini Sno-Cat for sure! I saw a feature on them on TV once, might have been Trucks! or another show, but a guy had a built and lifted F250 and he was just lettin' that thing EAT across some rolling countryside of deep snow. Just so cool.......
  9. Man these things are cool. Every time I see videos of them, I get all fired up. Somebody buy these! http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=786593
  10. Where are the tulips? :dunno:
  11. Looks good with the bumper painted now. How 'bout an angled shot and/or distant shot? With those closeups, your grill is all up in my grill!
  12. You da MAN!
  13. Interesting to see they expanded that much. I recall that when I left Da 'Burgh in '06 they were talking about trying to grow aggressively outside the area. MJeff87, I think one would do well on the southside in Richmond for sure.
  14. My wife had to change the voice on ours from a female to a male so I would quit ignoring it missing the turns and arguing with it that I know a better way. :D  :jump:
  15. GPS? Who needs GPS? I'm a man, I don't need directions to ANYWHERE, I know where I'm going. Right? Isn't that what we all tell our wives?
  16. SW2, they are pretty much in Western PA and I think in the Eastern parts of Ohio. Good bar food, great wings. Smithe, bad experience?? I've been to 3 or 4 different ones, all about the same. The one in Erie was slow, but that's it.

LOL! I was just kidding about the cassette deck. If someone wanted to buy it, I'd sell it, but it will be fun to keep and play some of my old DJ tapes just for kicks sometimes.
  18. Damn, that's a shame. Yeah I got it pretty good. He's laid back as hell, and her mom (their divorced) is the sweetest thing ever. Lucky fo' sho'! "Pie hole".......love that one, but I call it a "pie slot" or a "STRAW hole". Or, "soup cooler", one of my faves...... :rotfl2:

Tim, let me pull the boxes out and inspect everything and then PM you with what I feel would be a fair price on each. I can't believe you didn't want the cassette deck...... :brows:

    Home Audio

as much as i'd hate to sell it, it's all in boxes and likely not to get all hooked up again, my yamaha "home theatre in a box" receiver with a radio shack speaker selector worked well enough at my last house with ceiling speakers in the dining room, a pair out on the deck and then the surround sound. point being, whenever i get around to putting in a deck or patio at my current house i'll probably go the same route. soo...if you are interested in any of the following, I'd be willing to deal. Hafler DH220 amp - I believe 110w x 2 @8ohms, but as I recall that was a conservative rating; can be bridged to 300 x 1 IIRC Hafler 100 pre-amp Adcom brick - I'd actually have to go look at the box for the model number, I wanna say it was rated at 200-250 x 2, bridged to 600..BEAST! Nakamichi RX-202 cassette deck....that's right, cassette. This model was auto reverse, but instead of the heads moving, it literally had a tray that popped out, spun the cassette around and re-loaded it. Theory was that moving heads eventually became misaligned and lost sound quality. If anything, #1 all time coolness factor in a piece of home audio equipment, and it sounded great. Nice recording features. Nakamichi CD player - single disc Technics MK1200II pro DJ turntable......ahhh, the good ole days of cueing up vinyl; magnetic braking, full speed or dead stop in 1/4 turn Bose 901's.....these I might have a hard time parting with, but money talks; need to be re-coned, but I have the replacement kit let me know. granted it all has some age on it, but has been mostly boxed up for years and all in very good to excellent condition IMO
  21. Thanks for the details Dracula, I've had this same motor still sitting in the box for over a year. My father in law is coming for a visit in a few weeks and he gets bored real quick, and he loves to wrench. I'm putting together my list of things to do to the truck now. I think my wife is already upset that I'll probably spend more time with him than her! :brows:
  22. I wasn't trying to pick an argument with you, I was trying to laughingly (hence "LOL" and :rotfl2: in my post ) make a comment that it seemed like you were contradicting yourself. No harm intended....
  23. are you a ventriloquist? you just talked out of both sides of your mouth LOL! here's my analogy: "anybody paying for premium gas is wasting money. premium doesn't give you any more performance. regular is fine. why spend the extra money on anything but regular gas. (pause) I use mid-grade. It definitely runs better than regular. So if you are using regular, for just a few bucks more, you can use mid-grade, but don't use premium, it's not worth it." :huh???: :rotfl2:
  24. :rotfl2: Some way, somehow, you're gonna get that damn shell aren't you?
  25. well, how bad do you want or need to sell parts? if you have parts to sell, isn't it likely another buyer will come along that doesn't have these security concerns with it? nothing wrong with sitting back and let him continue to email you if he's real and truly in need? and finally, since diesels are much more common outside the US, there's gotta be parts over there, so why look for parts half way across the world in a market that's not known for diesels? i still say if it smells like a rat, it's gotta be a rat.
