OMG!!!!!!!!!! Now that was quite the experience......... No pink Jeep... :fs2: they only had like 8 of them by the time I got to 'em they were 'swoop' gone.. :( It was like a freaking mad house there.. Good thing I went did some recon earlier tonight and talked to some employees before hand. Made a mental plan of action and executed it to a tee (except the fact that by the time I got to the Pink Jeeps they were gone) I wasn't in there long; good thing because I was starting to feel a little "closed in" Got everything else I went for, so not too bad I guess! :clapping:

Ive pressure washed the top of a head before.. of course I wasnt running the thing and had the oil plug off.. filled it with about 2 gals of fuel oil after and turned it over without the plugs and fuel flow (disco'd the fuel pump) about 40 or 50 times. Drained the engine and refiled it with oil put it back together and it started right up. Never had a problem out of it since. Still running. Doesnt use oil and has good pressure. So.. It can be done I guess...

Wade,, , here's what you do.... go yank the engine out of your neighbors VW square-back and put check valves in 3 of the spark plug holes... then source the magneto coil from his new riding lawnmower and slap it on the crankshaft, so you can produce spark to the #4 cylinder. While your yanking the lawnmower parts grab the carb too. Drill and tap you two holes on the the intake port of that #4 cyl and crap grab the gas tank off the lawn mower too and hook it all up. Now get the V-DUBs battery and hook it up to the starter, hook the alt to the battery, and put a switch on it all. Make a exhaust pipe that goes out side. Hook the three check valves to air line going into a manifold block and then to a 60 gal lp tank (of course from your neighbor) and there you go. Pretty much guaranteed 20 cfm at 120 psi. Oh you might want to go buy you a pressure switch and hook it up to the magneto coil.. I guess you could add a remote start deal so when the pressure gets low it'll start the engine automatically... If you wanted that is....... :dunce:

Fixed your junk ADMIN..... Gezzsh... :D Arrrrrrr this be a highjack matey.......... Hey Pete.... are those fog lights in your turn signal spot?? -
:agree: Machinist Handbook covers alot more then you'll ever need. Feeds, Speeds, for CNC and manual, a lil trig, and threads. Bridgeports are real easy milling machines to learn. Just remember to offset half of your tooling size diameter when edge finding with the tool, or edge finder. When turning on a lathe its easy to cut to much because when your cutting a radius one complete turn is cutting two times, or double what the indicator says. so if you want too cut say .010 then set your machine to cut .005 and the final will be .010 Oh and whenever possible always use a center drill and center, I use a live center never liked using dead or non turning centers. This picture is of centers; the top three are live where the ends turn, and the bottom is called a dead center.

Oh yeah.... There cool ones alright!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats about the height I want to be.. I like the rear traction bars ! Pete How'd all this come about?? You get one of those self destructing emails...........
-
6-cylinder ZJ springs won't change your height at all, and V-8 ZJ springs will give you a 1" to 2" lift. What is it you're trying to do, again? Eagle its the rear ZJ springs that'll drop the front. So I'm told. I have a set just havent put them on yet. I'll let you all know how much drop it gives.

Yeap... Theres a few more pictures of that truck floating around here somewheres.....

Well if someone here is bidding on it they should say something. I mean if there was an auction on ebay, I would let everybody know, so they wouldnt run the bid up. :dunno:
