  1. There you go.... Youll need everything to swap over though.. engine, tranny, ecu, tcu, and wiring for engine and dash.. you should buy the whole Jeep...
  2. Nice! Now that's a bookmark!
  3. I'm about to swap my trans for the ax15 when the spring gets here, or find a heated shop, but to do the swap your going need a new pilot bushing from a 83 cj7 with 304, and the clutch hydraulics from the same year as the transmission, then it'll bolt up,, that is if your engine is a 4.ol.
  4. now why would you want to do that? its fine as long as the @$$ expands !!! :rotfl2:
  5. Thats because you have to pull the transmission to fix it. Might as well find you an AX-15 with the external slave and do it right.
  6. gezzus kid.... how many different hoods you got for that truck???
  7. yeah cause theres like a gazillion vac lines.. and 1 O2 sensor on the down pipe,,, I think 90's up might have 2.. I know my 96 XJ has two, but I think thats a OBDII thing... so........ :dunno:
  8. Same here.. I couldnt beleive how warm it was out yesterday.. 60 or something..
  9. Thanks Eagle! Those aren't to far away from me... Esp the one in Charlotte. I never knew........... I'd like to get my speedo calibrated. I know its slower then what I'm really going..... I asked a friend of mine(city cop) to clock me, but he usually works the graveyard shift...
  10. Speedometer shop... I have never seen one of those.. Is that a for real place? I know Ive never seen one around here...

I have 2 finals tomorrow, 3 essay's due by the 16th, 5 assembly drawings by the 12th in solidworks. :clapping: Next semester is going to be HELL.... At least my minor will be done next fall!!!
  12. Man you should bug the hell outa that guy till he just gives you the damn thing...
  13. Shoot... If your going put in heaters, might as well put in the massaging vibrators too!! buzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...
  14. I doubt it Taz. The ad uses the term "restored" loosly. Just looking at the pics, it's far from a restore. It's been cleaned up, detailed, and a few new parts were added, and probably a $1000 of bondo. I think they will make about a cool 50% profit if someone pays them what they are asking. Sure won't be me....... Hell, I've got more than $4300 just in the engine. But I'm about where I want to be. That is, until the spring. :D Hey Don, I forgot to ask,, but whats the deal with that lawyers red eliminator?
  15. wait Brent,, if he has a 91 itll be on the temp housing. I think, right?
  16. looks like a nice clean NC MJ to me!!! but your in the wrong place!! >>>here's<<< the spot for testing!!!
  17. I'll put a ground to the domes and see if all the other lights come on. I'm thinking they will( at least all the lights that turn on with the door), but you never really can tell with these trucks!!!! If they do, I'll burn me a diode in that ground before the relay, so no back feed will accrue when it closes. The whole reason I'm doing this is I'll be putting new lights there. I bought some lil rocker switches. I was going to wire in under the lights, but I was just going through the motion of switching them on, and it would be so much easier to turn them on by the cargo switch. No driving down the road trying to twist, and turn around just to get some light in the cab. Plus, the cargo light switches lil picture looks like a dome light anyways.
  18. Yeah, but the door jambs are still red...I'll get one tomorrow and post up. That'll ruin your reputation..
  19. Can i get a picture with the door open?
  20. :dunno: I had the cargo light, fog lights, under dash lights, and vanity mirror lights from the get go. I think there was a lighting package that included all that right? On the wiring that's the only simple way I can think to make it all work. :D
  21. lol... creative lil smiley face painted on the rear pumkin there,,, nevermind the the body work the Jeep has..... :pcwhack:

    My MJ

here's your pics, not bad for 150, thats less then the scrap value.
  23. Thanks for the replies.. Don, I was wanting to turn just the overhead b pillar lights on with the cargo switch. I know the headlight switch does this to but I'm weird like that, just want to be able to turn b pillar lights on with switch. I guess I'll just run a small 15A relay to switch that ground on the domes. Pretty simple. Now, will that provide ground to illuminate all the lights in the dash, under dash, and all the other odd panel lights? I guess I could wire in a diode on the dome light ground to keep a ground from backfeeding into the system... :hmm: Oh and by the way, I do have all the cargo light stuff, factory, on my truck.
  24. Oh Donnnn, where you at Don??? :waving:
