  1. hmm if its pushing into the exhaust vavle it would go into the enhaust... so then it would most likely be blowby whcih could be caused from a normal amount of gas going through.
  2. so how would running rich make fuel go in the oil?
  3. right but he is complaining about gas in the oil. not gas in the exhaust.
  4. i would still check the compression as of now and not rely on numbers that are getting old.
  5. hmmh weird... i would go to the closest vocational school and have them use a scan tool to see what the comp. says
  6. well wouldnt the pressure of hauling 4200lbs up a steep incline be the same pressure? how many axles have you heard of just driving along at 50 and then snap? (this does not include d35)
  7. well... hows the idle? what are you running for gas? clean your airfilter? make sure to check all fluids and put some engine stop leak (marvel mystery oil works great) and injector cleaner. should take care of the problem. plus if it don't you still get all the benefits of what you put in and if you put in a new cps and it don't take care of the problem your outta some sweet cash
  8. also if the chain is stiff id say there was no oil...
  9. o2 sensor is on the exhaust pipe so thats out the question. as for compression if you have a warped cylinder yes gas can leak but it would obviously still rin just on like 5 3/4 cylinders. so id go to nape or grab a compression checker and check compression on all your cylinders. also check the vacume/breather that comes off the block and see if gas iis going in there. hopefully its not a vavle :headpop:
  10. steel washers from hardware store $4.96 fully adjustable poly spacers $too much (+ shipping & sales tax)
  11. id do spring over all day long. plus your perches and shock mounts won't get hung up in hte mud or end up scraping on rocks.
  12. speking of rust i took 2 pieces of it in my eye today. when working under your truck i suggest a pair of decent shop glasses. thay can save you some serious headache and a greasy face.
  13. id go to the hardware store and put washers in the coil bucket and put them under the current bushing. not worth paying big bucks for some plastic
  14. core and whatnot needs to be changed i believe... could be wrong though. and i think the engine mounts are in the same spot... it would make sense
  15. i suggest a 2lb hammer for that tweaking
  16. umm yes. no back pressure = no torque
  17. if you shorten your exhaust i would change the diameter of the pipe to compensate for the high flow "muffler"
  18. i like pete's idea. plus you get better gas mileage and its free
  19. haha :agree:
  20. renegade has a point. i like his idear
  21. yeah but that cost money too and you might ge a headache or two
  22. this seal is the gasket for the pump assembly? if so should be fairly qick and easy to replace. pull down the tank and take out the unit and replace
