Any professional automotive paint suppliers should carry it, or go to their dealer locator page on their web site. Used the same SEM color on the seats and center console. It's holding up very well. The arm rest is still in perfect condition. The DS seat, where my arse scrapes getting in and out still has paint on it! I think it all has to do with the prep work before painting. My dad introduced this to me when we restored old 60's Corvette's. Great stuff and you can always touch-up with a spray if needed.

Just another option - there is a picture somewhere on the forum a MJ with a Ford stepside bed on it. I searched but I can't find it - you may be able to do better. It looked good by the way.

My leaks were - the front windshield was barely attached, the fire wall grommet like JB said, rear window seal, massive hole in floor, door seals, and this one was strange - the seam between the roof and the rain gutter had separated :nuts: . It took my legally blind painter to find that one. He noticed a bit of sunlight coming into the cab.

88 :wavey: , all I did has hack saw the valve out of the piece and re-connect the hose. It now looks like a a 3way pipe connector that Ed in North Ga. talked about - good idea by the way Ed :clapping:

Wow that looks nice. The rim & tire combo is perfect. What is your first impressions of the MTZ's? Running the same Wheel/Tire combo on the TJ as well... just 33x12.5 instead of 31x10.5 on the MJ... I've run 33x12.5 MTZ's on my TJ now for a couple years and REALLY like them in everything I have used them in (Mud, Rock, Sand and Snow) and for a DD... I don't know how long they will last...seems to be a "softer" rubber... I've only got about 6K on my TJ tires and Might have another 25-30K or so... When I go up to 35" I'll look at MTZ's first unless there is something newer out there. But on the TJ, quiet "enough" on the road, and never been disappointed off... was running 6-8PSI all weekend in the snow and have run that in the rocks/mud and not yet busted a bead, so other than being kind of pricey, I like the looks and ability so far. Wade I am also running the 33" MTZ's and I really like them so far. Just wanted to know if you felt the same way. I put in a lot of miles on my commute, so it will be interesting to see how they hold up.

Just when I thought I had nothing to worry about with my Comanche's cooling system - :headpop: . I had a guy tell me in traffic that I was leaking coolant bad - he was right. The bypass valve broke -> Image Not Found Granted the piece is 20 years old, but why did they make these out of plastic? My question is that if I by-passed the bypass valve - actually I cut it off on the side of the road and reconnected the hose like this -> Does this now mean I have the cab heater on all the time or off? The replacement valves are all metal now at between 35 - 45 bucks :eek: . All the ones at the JY broke in the same place. I am going to wait to find a newer metal one in the JY for now.

James, I was going to ask you what type of dog you have. I have 2 Australian shepherds and they go nuts when I first get on a quad/dirt bike. I can't do anything to get them to stop; its instinct for them. Once I get going they ignore it. It is a very different thing when it is a car that they are chasing vs. a small ATV. I don't own the ATV's, so it doesn’t happen often either. I hope you can find a way to resolve it before he gets hurt. Nothing feels worse than loosing a dog. brdhntr - well put. Just be careful where you put the shock collar remote. I friend of mine got in from school and his dog CJ went nuts. He had inadvertently set his books on the remote - sad but true.

That would be perfect, but I had to use the hitch hole for the license plate (ProtoFab rear bumper :rant: ) Thanks Don :thumbsup: - I just saved that in my Favorites.

I have been a little paranoid about being rear-ended after losing my tail lights to a faulty fuse block - yep, it's fixed now ;) . I saw a full size PU with a strip of LED's below the tailgate {in the gap between it and the bumper}. It only came on when he hit the brakes, which I liked. It did also flash with the turn signals - which I did not like. I am not a huge fan of how they look, but I could live with it just coming on when I hit the brakes to end my paranoia. Anyone use these, or any other ideas on a 3rd brake light of some sort? :popcorn:

JT - did you grab the rear window latch?

The can has to be 70 degrees. I now set the can out in the sun for a while before I use it. Never had a problem since.

OK Wahoo ;) The seats before (right one looked like the left one before it was cleaned)-> The final product -> I even did the center console (Gray to Blue)-> It's holding up better than I had hoped for! I figured for the price of a few cans, I could not go wrong. If I do scratch some off - it's an easy fix. Be warned - SEM is very very temp sensitive. I wasted a lot of paint applying it when it was too cold out :doh: .
